"I identified Dante by way of a strong referral from another Bay area entertainer who singled Dante out as being the best local magician. My son's 7th birthday was upcoming, and Dante received me warmly by phone when I outreached. He took careful notes of my son's background, including how my son would/not best be spot-lighted amongst friends and family the day of the party. Last Saturday, the birthday party date arrived, and Dante showed with a smile and on time. He set up his amazing stage presence in our great room. And show time had near 20 children and at least as many adults laughing and smiling throughout. My son who is now sitting next to me as I write this review says "Dante is the best magician in the world". I can tell you the video capture of Dante's magic delivery has brought my wife and I great smiles."

"Dante is amazing worth every penny you spend on for your special day. We hired him twice and every time he left with tons of joy, excitement and memories for our event. Thank you and highly highly recommend him to any big or small event. ( we host over 150+children at once and everyone doesn't want him to leave:)"

"C. Magic and his wonderful assistant, Lady V, were a huge hit at both our school events. They were easy to work with and had no issues switching things around to fit the needs of our events. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves! I would definitely use them again!"

He possesses his own very special ability to transcend genres, forms, cultures, and creative roles to reach out and connect with an audience. He effortlessly bridges the worlds of Magic and Music, sometimes combining the two, often with a healthy dose of humor thrown in. He is a magical, musical Jack-of-all-trades, capable of assuming the throne of a King of Comedy, very comfortable playing the role of Joker when appropriate, and who is always a true on-stage Ace in the Hole. "I saw Ian perform when I attended my friend's 6-year-old daughter's birthday party. Wow! His show entertains the kids but will amaze adults as well. In fact a lot of his humorous patter will only be understood and appreciated by grown ups. Doves and snakes appear out of nowhere, furniture floats in mid-air and wedding rings vanish then reappear right before your eyes. There is a good amount of close-up magic with cards too. Both kids and adults are mesmerized by his magic. He gets audience members to participate with him for many of his tricks. And - at least at this performance - he made balloon animals for the kids at the end of the show. A slick, humorous magician who is a pro, doing everything from birthdays to Vegas. I have no idea how much he charges but I'm sure he's worth every penny. -Yelp Elite member review 11/20/2017"

"Scoop provided high-level tricks and entertainment and if guests' gasps weren't enough - Scoop was dressed as a Mad Hatter to fit our party theme! Everyone enjoyed themselves and was raving about the magic tricks. Would absolutely recommend booking Scoop for your event!"

"We hired MerMan for a Halloween corporate event and he did not disappoint. He was amazing and I'm not ashamed to say that when the said there would be a magician at the party I had my doubts on how it would go over. OH MY WAS I WRONG. He was fantastic and everyone still talks about him and his show six months later. We had so much fun with him and what a nice guy he seemed to be. He took time to include everyone and stayed after to talk with guests and sign autographs. Yep grown people asking for autographs. If you want to have a good time you can hire just about anyone, If you want a great time that is gut wrenching funny and extremely memorable, and a real crowd pleaser! DON'T WAIT HIRE MERMAN NOW!!"
