"Review received on 7/4/2021 Amazing band - made our wedding This band is so amazing. They are all the nicest of people and amazingly talented musicians and vocalists. They performed at our wedding, including acoustic music while we walked down the aisle and during the cocktail hour and then they rock and rolled for dinner. They gave us a huge set list that we could choose from which they played and also added to. Everyone enjoyed them so much. People were dancing all night. They really made our wedding a special event. " Ostrich Hat made our wedding absolutely phenomenal. Their flexibility with scheduling and timing was so superb. They were talented performers who were able to get everyone dancing. Their song choices were very fun and they did a beautiful rendition of our song. They helped me connect with an acoustic musician for the ceremony as well. If you are thinking about Ostrich Hat for your wedding, absolutely choose them to have the reception of your dreams. Even our photographers (who shoot weddings every weekend) were extremely impressed with them. I think that speaks volumes."

"What an amazing set! Me and my wife were recommended this band by a friend of ours and we were not disappointed! We're both big fans of the Foo Fighters and did an amazing acoustic version of "My Hero" for our first dance. Would love to see them play again!"

"What an excellent match! We first saw Gary play at one of our favourite gourmet restaurants and I immediately fell in love with his guitar playing. I originally contacted Gary through Facebook asking if he played at weddings. As it turned out weddings are a common venue for him and he was the perfect fit for our wedding. He played during the cocktail hour as well as the receiving line. His music consisted of solo classical style guitar with no vocals. But the way his finger style arrangements sound, it is almost like you can hear the lyrics in you head. He was very well received by our guests and my cousin wants to have him play at her wedding while she walks down the isle. He was the complete package deal punctual and very professional with a seemingly endless repertoire. Which was excellent because he played all my requests and some of the best solo Beatles renditions I have ever heard. I couldn’t have been happier with him and now whenever I hear the Beatles “In My Life” I think of my wedding and that perfect day. Thank you Gary!"

"My first I counter with Jerry what ever we wanted it was no problem he even learned special requests for Laura my daughter very easy to work with he arrived at the venue on time and mingled amongst my family getting to know the crowd he played a little longer for us and kept the party going . I would recommend Jerry for your special day cause he made ours thanks again music man"

"Downshift provided the evening live music at our wedding on 2nd September 2022. The band were absolutely fantastic. Really nice bunch of people and the communication was excellent from start to the finish. Our wedding guests loved the band and the music and they got everyone up on the dance floor and singing along. I can highly recommend them. :-)"

"I went to a BigBandeoke event in Manchester and it was the best concert I've ever been to! The fact that my friends and I were up on stage singing with them was incredible, the energy was constant throughout the night and they clearly know how to work a crowd. Everyone was so involved and the band were so good! I will definitely be going again and would recommend them to anyone wanting a band for their event!!"
