Review Centre: Comedy Magicians

"ZATANNA ASSURE AU PARADISE RÉPUBLIQUE Zatanna », un nom de scène qui fleure bon les bandes dessinées DC Comics où évolue la magicienne homonyme née sous les traitsdu dessinateur Anderson dans les années soixante. À Avignon, les festivaliers ont pu apprécier le talent de cette artiste atypique au théâtre Paradise République. L'illusionniste cannoise a pris le parti de mixer mage et mentalisme - ou plutôt magie mentale dans la même représentation. Une recette délicate qui fonctionne à merveille grâce à sa personnalité attachante et une réelle proximité avec ses spectateurs - adultes ou enfants invités à participer activement à ses expériences sur scène. Les prédictions et les divinations s'enchaînent à un rythme effréné, entremêlées d'effets magiques bien ficelés avec des cordes, cartes, pièces, bagues, Rubik's Cube et même un journal déchiré et reconstitué à couper le souffle. La mise en scène, simple mais dynamique, ne souffre d'aucun temps mort. Le public est conquis. Au terme de sa prestation, Zatanna annonce sur un ton sarcastique : « Si vous n'avez pas aimé, dites-le aux gens que vous n'aimez pas..». De notre côté, nous avons pris grand plaisir à découvrir son spectacle."

"We had Ian for my sons 9th Birthday and he wanted to have a magician this year because he simply loves magic! Ian showed up early to scoop our place and picked the best spot to have his show. The show started early because after Ian finished setting up the kids and adults were excited to see the magic show and he was more than willing and flexible to work with flow of things. Thanks Ian!!! I can't begin to tell you how fun and engaging his performance was. He had kids and ALL adults engaged and laughing at how awesome his tricks were. The kids loved it and the birthday boy definitely felt special during the show. He had the audience involved and picked several guests including adults and got them involved. They had lots of fun! They kept talking about how fun the party was and how great Ian's show was. It was definitely the highlight of the day. I have to say that the mother and son trick was my favorite!!!! "Highly recommend - Professional and spot on! Did an incredible job at our work Christmas party. Prior to the event was very flexible and offered us a range of outfits she could wear to make sure that it fitted with the theme and also was happy to help in anyway possible. "Legend, Stop looking this is the one!! This review will not truly reflect from start to finish that hiring Carl was an absolute dream. If your looking for someone to flabbergast, astonish and have your audience in awe or stitches then this is the one. Carl looked amazing in his jesters costume for our medieval ball, constantly on point catering his wit and skills to the guests. If I were to be an event organiser again for our military events, I will definitely hire Carl without any hesitation"

"Hired Zeke to bring some energy and excitement to our annual awards dinner. We have never had a magician or MC before, and we will from now on! Zeke KNOCKED IT OUT THE PARK! He arrived early, kept things moving, presented a mind reading show that I have no explanation as to how he did what he did, and he is HILARIOUS! Already bringing him back next year!
