"I've just want to say what a fantastic evening we had dancing at the Ceilidh. We were visiting Edinburgh for a special birthday on Burns night as I'd always wanted to celebrate it in Scotland. Though our kids / young adults (13 & 16) were the youngest there, we were all warmly welcomed. The music was great, the calling helped us get to grips with the dances, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you! Thanks again for an amazing night."

"Wow… where to start! One word INCREDIBLE. Booking The Wild Sons was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the acoustic day performance until the very last song, the energy they brought was absolutely incredible. The dance floor was packed all night, and they created the kind of atmosphere we’d always dreamed of. They had everyone up dancing and singing along. We’ve lost count of how many people have told us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. So many of our guests have asked for their name because they were so impressed! Not only are they phenomenally talented musicians, but they were also so friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Alun made everything feel effortless, allowing us to relax and enjoy every second of the day. If you’re looking for a band that will keep the dance floor full, bring incredible energy, and leave your guests talking about your wedding for ages to come, look no further. "Maya, in combination with a saxophonist and DJ, delivered an unforgettable performance at our wedding celebration on July 15, 2023. Her presence throughout the day—from musically accompanying the bride’s entrance in the church to performing throughout the entire ceremony—contributed to a festive and welcoming atmosphere. After the church service, the celebration continued at Stadthalle Olfen, where the wedding party had a proper celebration. The response of our guests to Maya’s music was overwhelmingly positive, which was reflected in a constantly lively dance floor. Her ability to respond to individual music requests and present them in a unique and engaging way left a lasting impression. The quality of her performance was excellent—clearly professional—and everything ran smoothly from a technical standpoint. We were especially pleased that Maya seamlessly integrated into the celebration and actively participated in the festivities when she was not on stage. (It was wonderful to see that this was not just a “job” for her.) Overall, Maya’s contribution to our wedding was not only professional and technically flawless but also highly entertaining and atmospheric. "We met Rachel and Peter, The Upbeats Duo, on a cruise and loved their show so much, we bought the CD. Two years later, we got in touch with them to see if they could play at my husband’s 70th birthday. We were delighted when they said yes. We thought that pleasing an age range from 19 to 70 would be a struggle, but no, the Upbeats catered for all of us. Rachel and Peter are an absolutely delightful couple, immensely talented with various instruments and singing. The dance floor was hopping from the get-go until we had to finish. The encores would still be going on now, but sadly we had to eventually stop the evening. Have your entertainment provided by Rachel and Peter and you won’t be disappointed. Oh and they’re both utterly gorgeous too! "

"Excellent communication throughout, arrived on time and set up quietly during dinner in a not particularly large marquee, in the middle of nowhere. Friendly and of course an excellent band, playing upbeat songs and a varied set. We have heard a lot from our guests that they thought they were great. The dancefloor was never empty!"
