Safe to admit there’s something likable or safe to follow on a musical journey. It’s mature music pulling from his influences but with a youthful devil-may-care approach. None of the edges of his music (and they enough to show confidence) have been smoothed out so much that any emotion or truth has been removed. Quite interesting and accessible music and I’m looking forward to his new songs."
