Hoedown Band
"We hired the Hoedown Band for our Xmas party and they were fantastic. They were very professional, neatly presented and they sounded great on the night. We were a small crowd but their lead singer [caller] Dawn was very interactive and educational with her dance moves. The band knew their instruments and songs very well and I would certainly recommend them."
Berking Mad ceilidh band
"Dear Dave, Mike and Gerry
Thank you so much again for playing at our wedding last month. All our guests are still mentioning how awesome the music/entertainment was, particularly as so many of them had never experienced a ceilidh before. They sincerely loved it. (Despite being a bit exhausted by the end of the night.)
I have attached some photos from the wedding, that I thought you might like to use on your website/facebook page. Although if possible, when showing the photos please can I ask that you mention our photographer Lee Ovenden of Sophotogenic Wedding Photography as the one who made them. (His logo fell off when I downloaded the photos.)
Hope you have a good season and get to host many more lovely ceilidhs .
Thank you again
Best Wishes
Yun and Markus"
The House Devils
"Professional, prompt, entertaining, absolutely made my party. Can't recommend them highly enough if you want to make your event a success."
Annasach Ceilidh Band
"The Annasach Ceilidh Band made the evening of our wedding in The Netherlands unforgettable, motivating Dutch and French feet alike to dance the Scottish steps. Even my 62-year-old aunt was on her feet all evening and remarked at the end that from now on, she only wants Scottish weddings. The band also dealt very professionally with some unforeseen circumstances, rebooking their own flights when their original flights were cancelled, taking a lot of stress away from us. I will happily recommend them for any wedding or party in Scotland or abroad, and look forward to visiting one of their Ceilidhs in Edinburgh when we next find ourselves there!"
Bob Ferguson Songwriter
"Wonderful entertainer! Bob ‘reads’ the audience and keeps the mood, tempo and volume on point. He provided a wonderful afternoon of music and humour for mum’s 100th!"
Acoustic VibeZ Band
"These guys are awesome! I was so nervous about keeping my surprise from my girlfriend but they helped create what I had imagined - they were so professional and easy to work with and sounded great!"
