Dixieland Bands for Hire in Évora

The Dixieland bands perform traditional New Orleans-style jazz, also known as Dixieland or trad jazz. This lively style features instruments such as trumpet, clarinet, trombone, tuba, banjo and drums, and is known for its upbeat, improvisational character.

Hiring Dixieland bands is popular for weddings, garden parties, cocktail receptions, funerals (particularly New Orleans-style celebrations of life), corporate events and festivals. Dixieland music creates a joyful, festive atmosphere and many bands can perform as a roaming or marching act.

Many Dixieland bands are able to perform while walking or marching, making them ideal for leading wedding processions, greeting guests on arrival or creating a New Orleans-style second line parade. To get the best results, discuss roaming options with the band when making an enquiry.
