Photo of Bagpiper: Robert Mitchell Bagpiper: Robert Mitchell "Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests." They were easy to work with and helped make our wedding event one to remember. They traveled all the way to Arizona from the east coast. I was grateful for their effort and desire to do it at a reasonable price. Everyone loved the bagpipes and the dancing with the fiddle and the piano. They called out the dances while everyone participated and everyone learned how to do them easily. Everyone was anticipating the next number when they could do it again. I definitely recommend using The Devil's Tailors for your next event. If you are thinking about having Scottish dancing at your event, but don't know if it would be fun, I will tell you to book them right now. It is an amazing time. And if you have had Scottish dancing before, The Devil's Tailors will do a wonderful job." Perfect addition to a milestone party! Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition were the highlight of my husband’s 50th birthday celebration! Mr. Armsworthy is a complete gentleman and was recently awarded the 2019 Maryland Traditions Heritage Award. We were equally impressed to discover Mr. Armsworthy hosts a weekly radio show, Bluegrass By the Bay. The band is the real deal! Communication and logistics for our event were seamless, and their talent, musicianship, and harmonies - a gift. Our diverse crowd didn’t want the set to end. Thanks for a great evening!!" Jay and his crew were amaaaaaazing! Truly made the night so memorable and fun. We couldn't be happier. From the minute they got to our house until they packed up their last instrument, they were nothing but professional, polite, respectful and friendly. And let's talk about how talented and entertaining they were! Even our neighbors said that they sat in their driveway and enjoyed the sounds of the evening. They truly ""brought the house down"" and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative. We thanked Jay, and Rob's in touch w him about Venmo-ing, what we hope is a generous tip for him and his band. Monica, you too have been nothing but so helpful and gracious. It takes a village and we are so grateful for our fantastic village of vendors such as you and Jay. Thanks again for everything!! We definitely need to get you all on the books again in the spring!" Based in Richmond, Virginia (128 miles from Baltimore) Nash Osbourne - live band. college scene
