Guitar players mostly quote per set rather than per hour, with rates in Birmingham starting from about £100 for a single instrumental set, typical bookings around £250 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching £800+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Bob Gessey
"Hi Bob We just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our party on Saturday night. We had such a great day and the band just made it. We've had so many comments on how good the band were. We were so pleased with how the party went and to be able to use our garden to host. The atmosphere was great and the selection of music was just perfect. Thank you for coming all the way over to Lincolnshire too. We can highly recommend you Margaret Foreman

"Ben was great, punctual, polite and self sufficient. Adapted to last minute venue changes due to adverse weather conditions, he took it all in his stride and coped with the quirkinesses of the event brilliantly. Great voice, great musician, great price!!!"
