"Johnny is simply incredible! I am an elementary school music teacher who came to him with a wild proposal to accompany my choir of 96 children on a Scottish folk song, The Skye Boat song.
He met with my assistant directors and I to come up with a plan of how to coordinate the flow of the song and balance the vocals and the pipes. He is an amazing collaborator and had a lot of great ideas of how to make it come together.
He came to one of our rehearsals and was so gracious and so kind with the students. They absolutely loved interacting with him!
Our whole community was enchanted with him when he played for the concert and opened for us and then performed the number we had worked on together. He is a very eloquent and engaging speaker and a master at his instrument! He’s one of those people who is just a joy to work with and we look forward to collaborating with him again on future musical projects!"

Andy Burr's band did a great job at our 70th Birthday-- contacted us immediately to discuss the event, the venue, etc. They require only a plug in to perform! We loved that we could preview his songs on his website. He accommodated our special song. It was difficult because people were hadn't seen each other for over 20 years.... everyone was chatty, which is somewhat disrespectful; but no problem. Two outgoing youngsters that wanted to perform and Andy very graciously accommodated --to the delight of the adults.
