"Frank Doherty and Ben Gunnery turned a family party into a proper ‘hooley’! From folk songs, to ballads, to the Siege of Ennis, they cranked up the volume when we wanted everyone up on the dance floor, but also allowed the fiddle, guitar and tin whistle to play quietly in the background when people wanted to sit & talk. Two very good Irish musicians; well-played lads ‘go raibh mait agat’!"

"We couldn’t ask for a better experience for my father in laws funeral. Johnny showed up way in advance in a beautiful setting. We asked for some specific numbers, one of which he’d never played. He mastered the song and played it beautifully as well as the others. He also was very helpful in suggestions for timing. Prelude music while people were arriving was truly an added bonus. This man is also a true gentleman. If you desire a piper for any event, I recommend Johnny."

"Overall we had a very good experience in difficult conditions. The caller handled inexperienced participants, hot weather, and minor technical challenges to deliver an enjoyable experience for all, including child-friendly dances. I recommend this band."

"Many thanks to Casado Jazz Quartet for a superb evening’s entertainment at Sutton Arts Theatre on Saturday 13th April. They are SO talented! We enjoyed the musical diversity of their programme and their skills on the different instruments - that was a WOW and really contributed to an outstanding evening of entertainment! "I wanted a special surprise for my wife's 60th birthday party. She's a first generation Scottish immigrant, and has very strong ties to her heritage and family there. At quite short notice, I came up with the idea to find a piper to pipe in the birthday cake into the house like the haggis is piped in at a traditional Burns Supper. Johnny exceeded my expectations and made this a memorable night for my wife, our family, and our guests. He played Happy Birthday and a selection of traditional Scottish songs, including many of my wife's favorites. He also spent time talking about the bagpipes and the traditional kilt, tartan and some of his experiences in playing in competition pipe bands. I highly recommend Johnny if you ever have the need for a piper."

"Made our father's memorial perfect. Brock and Toni played beautifully. During the memorial, Brock made sure each guest felt personalized as he would play a piece after speaking to them. Toni gave us ideas of what we possibly might want to do for the services. Together their playing Amazing Grace was incredible moving! Every one felt the tribute plus Toni had ideas that were used and greatly appreciated. We wouldn't have had such perfection without her advice. If you're looking for Pipers with care and kindness, they are definitely the choice."

"Many thanks for last night... it was bouncing when I left. Great stuff. Many thanks to you all... The music was great, Grace called the dancing very well, getting everyone up dancing. It was very relaxed and at just the right pace allowing those who were completely new to ceilidh dancing to have a fantastic evening. The room was buzzing."

"Johnny was amazing at my FIL services. He helped my MIL with the hardest choices in her life trying to pick music and helping with an Irish funeral and burial. He was professional and empathetic to the situation, and he was very well priced. If you need a bagpiper for one of your events, please consider Johnny. He is exceptional, and loves being able to play for people!"
