"I wish I could give John 10 stars! Planning a funeral is hard and stressful, but working with John was not. He responded quickly and gave great suggestions for how he could make the service even more meaningful. There was a small hiccup where I didn’t communicate correctly what the family wanted, but in the moment he jumped in and made it happen. I wish I had the words to explain how great working with him was, just hire him and you won’t be disappointed!!"

"Brian was absolutely perfect for our wedding. As my partner and I have totally different tastes, we wanted something that incorporated both of us and Brian was 100% willing to do that - he played jazz piano during our brunch reception, and then transitioned into classic party DJ music for the later portion of the reception. He took all of our requests very well, and was very easy to work with. When some guests made requests that went against our desires (line dances, gross!), Brian thoughtfully checked in with us before playing them, and of course he maintained the dance vibe of the party. He is adaptable, friendly, easy to work with, very good as a musician, professional, and "budget-friendly." I can't recommend him enough. "

"Henry made the whole process so easy and was so wonderful to work with him. He helped us pick all the best music for our wedding cocktail hour and reception and kept us dancing until the last minute! All our guests had a blast. He made sure everything was just right, including the price!"

"The Perfect Soundtrack to Our Wedding – Thanks to Grace Grace was a dream to work with — kind, talented, and completely tuned in to our vision from the very start. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she went above and beyond to provide music samples tailored to our ceremony choices, including a breathtaking Killers Medley for my walk down the aisle. When the day arrived, Grace’s live piano and vocals elevated every moment. Her performance during the pre-ceremony and throughout was simply stunning — elegant, emotional, and beautifully paced. Walking down the aisle to her music was one of the most emotional moments of the entire day. Guests repeatedly told us how special it felt to have live music, and how lovely Grace was. Her presence brought warmth and grace (no pun intended!) and truly helped shape the atmosphere of love and joy. Grace, you are so talented — we honestly can’t thank you enough for creating such magical moments through your music. "After a wonderful show in Dublin, we were fortunate enough to have Shindig visit us in Denmark to play at our wedding. The preparations were handled very professionally with quick follow-up and great flexibility. It was a wonderful event and all the guests were so impressed with their performance. The dance floor was full all night and everyone around really enjoyed the show. We would recommend Shindig anywhere! Thanks again for a great evening!Martin and Trine"

"Johnny was phenomenal in everything he did. He sent me soundbites to choose from he walked me through what he could to help me make decisions that were hard to make on my own. "Johnny played at my father’s graveside funeral and did a really phenomenal job. He was extremely professional and communication was excellent. He tailored the songs to exactly what we were looking for and his bagpipe music set a beautiful tone for the service. I couldn’t be happier. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for bagpipe music for your event."

He was professional and empathetic to the situation, and he was very well priced. If you need a bagpiper for one of your events, please consider Johnny. "I hired Johnny as a surprise for my sister’s birthday party over the 4th of July weekend and everything went perfectly! He was on time, played upbeat, patriotic songs, and the happy birthday song, made a cool entrance, AND even came to us at Jordanelle Reservoir. Everyone was so entertained! He even stayed after and chatted with people and gave us neat info about the bagpipes and his traditional Scottish garb. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience - thank you Johnny!"

"I booked Johnny for my husband's surprise birthday party, he was amazing 👏🏻 he had everyone up dancing from 1 year old to 93 year old.. took requests no problem and was so lovely to everyone. Even before the event he called and asked was there any specific songs we would like him to play. He had such a good variety of songs and was brilliant from start to finish. I will definitely book him again for my next event! "
