"Brian was everything that my husband and I could've asked for. He was professional, punctual, and most importantly he did a great job with the music selection. He was also able to provide a mic and amp for some live music during the ceremony, and played piano for us during the cocktail hour. We really appreciated having someone so multi-talented for our event. We gave Brian a smaller list of must-play songs, and with that outline he was able to fill in the gaps effectively with what the crowd was feeling. We didn't have to worry about the music all night, and he was mingling and getting requests from the guests with his iPad (a favorite detail of the guests'). Our wedding was a huge success in no small part because of Brian, and we cannot recommend him enough."

"Johnny was absolutely wonderful to work with for our father’s funeral. He treated the situation with the upmost care and respect. He has tremendous experience working with this type of situation and he gave us some great ideas for different ways the bagpiping could be played, It gave a depth of reverence and heartfelt emotion to this person who passed we all love so much and wanted to give a great lasting memory and dedication to. Johnny really helped set the tone for that in his professional demeanor, his look, and presentation both at the church and gravesite. It was powerful and regal to experience."

"So talented! So fun! Great addition to our party! Number 9 Coal played for 3 hours at my brother's rehearsal dinner and welcome party in November '21. They were fantastic! They were on time, communicated great, were professional and the music was excellent. They even took the time to learn a new song to surprise my brother and his fiance. "CAMIC had the great pleasure of having Harbour City perform at our annual conference. Not only was the band fantastic, but they played a variety of tunes, from ones themed to the East Coast to familiar tunes from the past. Our guests happily danced until the last set was played"

"Thanks for a really great evening! The ceilidh was really fun and Sarah’s calling made it really easy for the many of our guests who had never been to a ceilidh before to join in too. We had many comments about the lovely music and it was nice to have the interludes between dancing to listen and have a break."
