"Jonny was amazing to work with. We contacted him when my mother was close to passing to see about availability. He was very flexible and was able to play at her graveside service with very short notice. He arrived early to play as people arrived and throughout the service. It was very special and made the cold snow day feel more peaceful. Highly recommend him for any event."

"We had the absolute pleasure of having The Beer Mats play for my brothers wedding in Tipperary! We did a flyby trip to see them perform in Howth (from the UK) beforehand and knew they would be spot on for the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better performance on the big day, from the moment they starting playing, they had everyone up on their feet - young, old, Irish and not so Irish! They played traditional and classic sing/dance along songs and even covered a few country songs as requested for the first dance and more! All the guys are down to earth and easy to work with, they kept the craic going all night and I'm not sure the guests feet will ever recover! If your looking to hire an Irish band, I cannot recommend these guys enough! Thank s so much guys, The Rawlings family"

"School Fundraiser Chichester "Thank you so much for making our Barn Dance on Friday night such a success! Great fun and great exercise!! The music was fantastic, we were all very impressed by your skills and your instruments, especially the funky violin!! We raised approx. £500.00 which will be extremely useful for the School in times of low budgets. We have had requests for another Barn Dance asap , so please may we use you again!! "Johnny was absolutely amazing. His performance made for a very special part of our grandpas funeral service. It was special to have him there when the doors to the funeral opened and then again at the gravesite. He knows what he is doing and is happy to give advice for what is commonly done, or also can be flexible if you have something in mind. Very impressed with his stamina!"

"Johnny helped my family and I to remember my brother-in-law that died unexpectedly at his graveside service the day before Thanksgiving. He made himself available for any questions/needs prior to the day. Even took a late request on the day and made the service meaningful for those attending. He arrived half an hour early and on time (as he said he would). Took time to familiarize himself with where he was going to play. The weather, unfortunately turned unexpectedly cold however, that did not deter him. He showed his professionalism and respect for the moment at hand and played. The songs were played with love and passion and were simply beautiful. He is a true gentleman and a Scotsman at heart. I am deeply grateful for what he did and I highly recommend Johnny and his services. He even took time after all was done to let the kids enjoy a lesson in bagpiping."

"Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

"Many thanks to Casado Jazz Quartet for a superb evening’s entertainment at Sutton Arts Theatre on Saturday 13th April. They are SO talented! We enjoyed the musical diversity of their programme and their skills on the different instruments - that was a WOW and really contributed to an outstanding evening of entertainment! Lovely banter too! Highly recommended. Many thanks to all involved."

"Lesley was wonderful. Such a talented Violinist. No fuss, turned up early and set everything up very efficiently. The sounds quality was amazing. It was a surprise for my grandparents and they loved it. She played their song for them, and my grandmother nearly missed it! When she arrived back Lesley kindly played it for them again so they could dance to it. It was a beautiful moment. There was 11 of for the private dinner party. Every guest said that Lesley made the evening. I would highly recommend and would book again in a heart beat! "
