Live jazz groups bring a polished, adaptable sound to weddings and events near you. These professional musicians handle everything from soft background music during dinner to high-energy dance sets, adjusting their repertoire and volume to suit your venue and occasion. Most jazz acts offer flexible lineup sizes, so a trio that plays your cocktail hour can expand to a quintet or larger group for the evening.
The most popular format is a three or four-piece jazz group for wedding receptions and corporate functions, with a classic combination of piano or guitar, bass, drums and sometimes saxophone or vocals. Smaller duos work well for ceremonies and intimate settings, while larger ensembles with brass and dedicated vocalists suit bigger venues and dance-focused events. Many jazz musicians locally also offer themed sets, including 1920s Gatsby-era jazz, bossa nova, and modern pop songs rearranged in a swing style.
Jazz bands in Braşov currently range from €160 for smaller ensembles to €2,000+ for larger groups or extended performances, with an average booking cost of €600. Price typically reflects the number of musicians, set length, travel requirements, and any custom arrangements. Trios and quartets offer good value for most events, while full big band setups command a higher fee but deliver a richer, more dynamic sound.

Kind Of Two
"They accompanied us brilliantly on the most important day of our lives"
NoNi Trio
Elegant Piano
"Hi Marcel, thank you again for playing at our wedding. You did a wonderful job and everyone enjoyed the music and the occasion."
The Tiny Musician
"What an amazing talent Joana has. We booked her to play as our guests arrived before the wedding ceremony and then as I walked down the aisle, and she did such a beautiful job. Her talent is unbelievable and the music was absolutely perfect for the ceremony.
She was also probably the easiest supplier from our entire wedding to deal with! She is the loveliest person, so friendly and made everything incredibly easy from start to finish.
Joana played such an important part in one of the biggest moments of our day and we couldn’t have chosen anyone better.
Thank you so much, Joana, for being such a special part of our wedding. I couldn’t recommend The Tiny Musician enough!"
