Latin / Salsa / Mariachi Entertainment for Hire in Bath

The Latin acts on Gig Heaven include salsa bands, mariachi groups, Latin jazz ensembles, bossa nova acts, cumbia bands and Latin DJs. Many performers offer an authentic Latin experience with traditional costumes, instruments and audience participation.

Typical bookings for Latin / salsa / mariachi entertainment include weddings, corporate events, themed parties, restaurant entertainment, festivals and cultural celebrations. Latin music creates an energetic, joyful atmosphere that encourages dancing and social interaction.

Many Latin acts offer interactive dance lessons as part of their performance, teaching guests basic salsa, merengue or bachata steps. This is a popular icebreaker at weddings and corporate events. It is worth asking about interactive options when making an enquiry.

Most Latin acts bring their own instruments and, for larger acts, their own PA system. Mariachi groups are typically fully acoustic. For larger venues, additional amplification may be needed. For the best experience, confirm equipment details with the performers before booking.

Mariachi works indoors and out, though the sound carries and a group of eight or more fills a room quickly. Restaurants and function rooms tend to book a shorter set for that reason rather than a full evening. Where the venue has a noise limit, mention it early, as the group is acoustic and cannot simply turn down.

Serenades and single-song appearances are a standard booking, often for an entrance, a birthday or a proposal rather than a full set. The group learns the requested song in advance and arrives for a short slot. Because these bookings are brief, travel is usually the largest part of the fee.

Booking two acts for one event is common, with a mariachi group for the arrival or the meal and a band or DJ for the dancing later. Some suppliers cover both and will quote for the whole evening as a single booking. Where they are separate suppliers, agreeing the changeover between them avoids a gap in the middle.

Yes, either add suppliers to your favourites and contact them all at once, or use the find a supplier wizard.

Booking as early as possible increases the chance of securing your supplier's availability on your event date, particularly during busy times of the year. However, many suppliers also accept last minute bookings, and we have successfully arranged bookings for clients with just a few hours' notice.

Contact the supplier you are interested in booking by clicking "Contact Now" on their listing. Discuss your requirements using our messaging system or join a video meeting (like a Zoom-call) to speak face-to-face. Once you are ready to confirm your booking, simply ask the supplier to send you a contract, which you can agree to online, or request amendments. Once you agree to the contract you will be asked to pay a 10% booking fee to confirm the booking, with the balance payable directly to the supplier by the due date you've agreed on.
