Magicians for Hire in Yokohama

Hire Magicians in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan

Magicians in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan work across weddings, private parties and corporate events, and many will have performed at the same venues you are considering. That matters more than it sounds: an act that knows a room knows where the awkward sightlines are, how long the drinks reception really runs, and when the staff will start clearing tables.

What the Venue Needs to Provide

Close-up magic asks for almost nothing at all. No stage, no power, no sound system, and the act can start the moment guests have a drink in hand. A staged set is a different proposition and needs a clear area guests can see from a seated position, somewhere to leave props out of sight, and in a large room a microphone through the house system. Ask the venue about the sound system before booking a stage act, because a magician talking without amplification to 200 seated guests will not carry.

Fitting Magic into the Running Order

The two slots that work hardest are the drinks reception, where guests are standing and have nothing to do, and the gap between a meal and the evening entertainment. Roaming magic during a seated meal works too, though it needs coordinating with the catering team so the act is not arriving at a table as the plates do. Give the performer a running order a week or two ahead and they will usually suggest where their set lands best.

What Magicians Cost in Yokohama

Rates for magic acts in Yokohama centre on ¥80,000 for a standard booking, with the length of the performance window the single biggest factor. Distance adds to a quote once a performer is travelling far enough to need a hotel, and the busiest wedding dates of the year carry a premium. Check whether the quoted fee covers setup time and any props specific to your event, and whether a second appearance later in the evening is charged separately or folded into a package.
