This is the way to play soul and Motown-a full ten piece band, great brass section, girl backing singers, pulsating rhythm section and Big Mac himself on lead vocals-not only great musicianship but also a great performance. I am not surprised that it is one of the most popular outfits in South Wales, as it was absolutely superb. If you book corporate functions or summer balls and want a great dance band, you could do a lot worse. This is a truly hot band.'"

"We booked the Cheers Band for our wedding in Bentley on 12 September 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have made a better choice.
The communication throughout was absolutely spot on. We had the saxophone and acoustic guitar playing during our drinks reception, and everyone was so impressed — it created such a lovely atmosphere.
Later in the evening, the band performed as a six-piece, and they certainly got everyone up on the dancefloor! The energy was fantastic, and they really helped make our wedding evening so memorable.
We can’t thank Ben and the whole band enough for everything. They were brilliant from start to finish, and we would highly recommend the Cheers Band to anyone looking for an amazing wedding/function band!

"Funk’N’Soul performed at a wedding celebration held at Maisemore Gloucestershire on 28th August. The two hour set and DJ kept everyone on the dance floor, which was exactly what was wanted!! Awesome night!"

"Ant was fantastic!! We asked Ant to sing/ play guitar to one of our favourite songs (Better together, Jack Johnson) during the signing of the register at our church ceremony wedding. He also sang Elton John 'Your song'. We absolutely loved his performance and so many of our guests said how great they thought he was!! He sang them brilliantly and gave an extra personal touch to our ceremony. His kind, easy going nature made the whole process of booking/ arranging very simple. Would highly recommend!!!"
