Percussionists for Hire in Canberra

The percussionists on Gig Heaven include drum kit players, congas and bongos players, djembe specialists, steel pan players, tabla musicians, cajon players, vibraphone players and multi-percussionists. Many are versatile session musicians who can adapt to a wide range of musical styles.

Events that commonly feature percussionists include corporate events, parties, DJ sets needing live percussion, recording sessions, drum circles, team-building workshops and cultural events. Live percussion adds energy, rhythm and a visual element to any performance.

Many percussionists offer interactive drumming workshops where guests participate together, playing rhythms as a group. This is a popular choice for corporate team-building events, school programmes and festival activities. It is a good idea to discuss workshop formats with the percussionist.

Most percussionists bring their own percussion instruments and any stands or accessories needed. For workshops, the percussionist often provides instruments for all participants. It is worth confirming what equipment is included, especially for group workshops.
