Rates for saxophonists in Kingston run from $230 to $1,700+, with typical bookings around $650. Check what the figure covers before comparing quotes: PA and setup are usually included, travel may or may not be, and an overtime rate for running past the agreed finish is worth agreeing in writing rather than on the night. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date, with the balance due close to the event, and short notice tends to cost more rather than less, since a free Saturday in peak season is a date someone else has already turned down. SaxoDance
"SaxoDance Was the Life of Our Cocktail Hour
We are so pleased with our decision to hire Stephan to perform for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He is very professional and helped us craft our processional walk. He learned the songs that we wanted to mark each moment, and let us curate his broad repertoire to our liking. He is a very talented player and provided great entertainment for our cocktail hour, even playing past our designated time as our dinner got delayed. Our fiends and family enjoyed socializing with him and his wife/assistant Suzanne. They both really helped make our day so magical, and created many great photo moments. I can’t recommend SaxoDance enough :)"

I felt every note he played. After the event I got quite a few query about him and the feedback was all positive. I will definitely use him in any event I am planning.
