Rates for saxophonists in Arcachon run from €150 to €1,100+, with typical bookings around €420. Check what the figure covers before comparing quotes: PA and setup are usually included, travel may or may not be, and an overtime rate for running past the agreed finish is worth agreeing in writing rather than on the night. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date, with the balance due close to the event, and short notice tends to cost more rather than less, since a free Saturday in peak season is a date someone else has already turned down. Lou Sax
"Working with Lou was fantastic! This lady can play SAX!! From our first chat through to the actual event Lou was easy to deal with, flexible and professional. We collaborated on a playlist and on the day of the event Lou knocked it out the park. The clients loved her!! From the very first note she was en point and sounded fabulous. Her natural charisma and personality showed as she mingled with the guests and entertained them for 2 hours solid. If you are looking for a Sax player for Cocktails and /or Evening party with a DJ I can not recommend her highly enough and I look forward to our other gigs this year and beyond."
Jon Rebbeck
"Really great having Jon perform for our wedding. He was very professional and booking and communications were straightforward and timely, making it really easy to book and not have any worries despite being in the UK!
Jon played for our cocktail hour and was absolutely incredible, so good in fact that it took a few of our guests a minute to notice it was a live performance and not a track! It really added to the relaxed atmosphere we were going for during our cocktails, and everyone loved it!
Later in the evening we had our DJ playing with Jon playing some more tunes that just kept everyone dancing, we even had a conga-style line with Jon at the helm at one point. Really really fun experience and loved having Jon performing for us, highly recommended!
Thank you Jon!!"
Shaal Sax
"Alex of Shaal Sax was an absolute delight to work with and have play at our wedding. We’d highly recommend! My husband and I booked Alex for our wedding just about 10 days before the big day and Alex was great at communicating, offering creative ideas, and adapting without much notice. He was quick to respond, and extremely kind both via the internet and in-person. He showed up hours in advance to make sure technology worked smoothly alongside our DJ, and he bravely played in front of our crowd of ~165 French and American guests moving between dinner tables during dessert and then around the dance floor alongside our DJ for several songs. Having him in the center of the dancing was a huge crowd pleaser. He brought the energy up from about 7/10 to 11/10! ;) everyone loved it so much and he will truly remain such a highlight of our wedding day! Awesome experience hiring Shaal Sax!"
Nicolas Longuet Saxophonist
"We were delighted to have a top quality performance at our wedding reception. 3 hours of sax played by Nicolas, a real pleasure that all our guests appreciated.
So don't hesitate to call on his services, you won't regret it,
Thank you Nicolas for delighting us with your music."
Chips and Cheers - Judikaël Mauffret
"A huge thank you to @chips&cheers for their service at our wedding!
He was able to create a unique atmosphere during the entire reception, then enhance our entrance into the reception hall. From our first exchanges, he was attentive, responsive, caring and very professional. On the day, he perfectly knew how to adapt to the moments, while being both discreet and fully present.
His musical style, rich and elegant, has conquered all our guests. He was able to customize his repertoire according to our wishes while keeping this touch that makes his signature.
We were touched by his kindness, his talent, and his energy. An artist whom we recommend with our eyes closed for any event ✨
Thank you again"
Escudero Sax
"We booked Roberto to play at our wedding in Spain – and we are SO glad we did!
Roberto started by playing some songs during dinner, which was the perfect way to create a great atmosphere! Afterward, he played a 30-minute set for the party, which was the perfect way to get the celebration going!
He has our highest recommendation!"
