Singer / Songwriters for Hire in Melbourne

The singer / songwriters for hire perform their own original songs, often in an acoustic or stripped-back style. Many also cover well-known songs, giving them a unique personal arrangement. This creates a distinctive, intimate performance that cannot be heard anywhere else.

Hiring singer / songwriters suits a wide range of events including weddings, private parties, corporate events, restaurant entertainment, festivals and intimate gatherings. The personal, authentic style of a singer-songwriter creates a warm, engaging atmosphere.

Many singer / songwriters offer custom songwriting services, creating an original song for a wedding, anniversary, corporate event or special occasion. This makes a unique and memorable gift or centrepiece for the celebration. Gig Heaven recommends contacting the artist well in advance for custom commissions.

Many singer / songwriters blend their original material with acoustic covers of well-known songs. This mix works well at events where guests want both familiar favourites and something fresh. For the best experience, check each artist's repertoire on their profile.

For small, intimate settings, many singer / songwriters can perform acoustically. For larger venues or outdoor events, a small PA system is usually needed. Most singer-songwriters bring their own amplification. It is worth confirming the setup based on the venue.
