Sound Technicians / Engineers for Hire in Schaffhausen

Hire Sound Engineers in Schaffhausen, Canton of Schaffhausen, Switzerland

A sound engineer takes responsibility for everything the audience actually hears: gain structure at the desk, monitor mixes the performers can work with, and a PA sized to the room rather than to the booking. Engineers in Schaffhausen, Canton of Schaffhausen, Switzerland know which venues have house systems worth using and which need a rig bringing in, which is usually the difference between a smooth get-in and a rushed one.

What a Sound Engineer Covers on the Day

A standard booking runs from get-in and rigging through line checks and soundcheck to the show itself, then the de-rig. Expect the engineer to ask for a stage plan and input list in advance, and to handle microphone placement, EQ and levels live rather than setting and leaving. For speech-led events the work is different again: radio mic management, feedback control and a clean feed for any recording or stream.

What Sound Engineers Cost

Rates for sound engineers in Schaffhausen run from CHF80 to CHF850+, with most bookings around CHF280. Channel count is the main driver, followed by the length of the day and whether the engineer supplies the PA or works on a system already in the room. A single speaker on a small PA sits at the bottom of that range; a full band with monitor mixes and a recording feed sits near the top.
