In advance of the wedding, they coordinated directly with our DJ and sound engineer to ensure that all sound-equipment requirements were sorted smoothly. They also discussed the setlist with us clearly and thoughtfully, including many of our favourite classics by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Louis Armstrong, and more. They went above and beyond by working with a friend of ours—a backing vocalist and songwriter—who had composed a song especially for us. We booked the duo to accompany the most special moments of our ceremony and aperitivo, and they made both absolutely unforgettable. Dagmar (fluent in so many languages, including the ones that were most important to us: German, English, Italian, and Spanish) enchanted everyone with her beautiful voice while also excelling in her role as our MC. From beginning to end, the collaboration felt warm, personal, and completely on equal footing, while always remaining highly professional. Their beautiful interpretations of songs that hold a very special place in our hearts made some of the most meaningful moments of our wedding even more memorable. And one moment we will definitely never forget: during our ceremony, one of the rings went missing. While everyone embarked on a scavenger hunt across the 2ha garden of the villa, Dagmar and Jacopo reacted quickly & kept playing.. providing the perfect soundtrack and turning this moment into one of the funniest and coolest experiences of the entire day.
