Variety Entertainers in United StatesBooking a tarot card reader in the United States is one of the simpler entertainment arrangements to make: most readers bring everything they need and set up in minutes. What they do need is the right spot. A reading has to be heard, so plan for a table away from the band or DJ, with two chairs and enough light to read the cards by. If you expect a queue, leave some standing room nearby so waiting guests can chat without crowding the table.
Readings work best once guests have settled, so most hosts start the table an hour in rather than at the door. At a wedding, the gap between the meal and the first dance is the natural slot; at a corporate evening, readings run well alongside drinks rather than during speeches or presentations. Agree a finishing time in advance, and decide whether the reader should work through a sign-up list or simply take whoever sits down next.
Tarot works outdoors with a little planning. Cards and wind are a poor combination, so give the reader a sheltered corner, a marquee table or a spot indoors to retreat to if the weather turns. After dark, a lamp or a couple of candles does more for the atmosphere than bright overhead lighting, and a steady table matters more than a large one. For daytime fairs and festivals, check whether the reader brings their own gazebo or expects cover to be provided.
Rates for card readers in the United States run from $20 to $900+, with most bookings settling around $150. Quotes are usually per event rather than per reading, so confirm how many hours are included and what happens if the queue is still going at the end. Travel beyond the reader's local patch, late finishes and peak dates such as Halloween and New Year's Eve all push quotes up, while daytime and midweek events often come in under the average.
The average price is $150 (USD), with most priced from $20 to $900+. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.
Ralphs Mentalism
"Ralph is the real deal. Mingles among the guests and performs Mentalist, mind reading and hypnosis. I have hired and also visited many psychics and magicians and he rates at the very top. Extremely generous with his time as well. Very personable and professional. Would recommend him again without question"
Oracle Samayah : Powerful Psychic Medium
"Samayah and I had synchronistically met prior to me booking her, at a dance class before I realized it was her. She and I had already connected and were both pleasantly surprised when we did realize this. She came to mine and my friend’s joint birthday party and immediately started channeling. Our readings and the readings for the rest of our guests were thorough, in depth and so insightful. There were a lot of personal moments we shared amongst ourselves and with the group that Samayah walked us through. So yes, there were a few tears shed. She stayed well past her time but she did not complain at all, she continued to let the messages come through without interruption. This woman knows her ish, she’s super intuitive and so so sweet. If you’re looking for a psychic tarot reader, she is the one to go to. She was a pleasure and joy to have. After your reading you will leave with more clarity, you’ll feel more confident and ready for your new horizons. And that’s all thanks to Samayah. I cannot thank her enough. ✨❤️🙏"
Psychic Live entertainment by Crystal
"So my assistant completely handled the entertainment booking for our rooftop VIP event, meaning I honestly didn't know what to expect. But after watching her table absolutely command the entire room all night, I made sure everyone else got a turn before the event wrapped up, and finally sat down myself. Real talk, I was low-key blushing the whole time. As stunningly beautiful as she is on the outside, she is just a truly beautiful soul on the inside. She flipped the cards and instantly dropped insights she couldn't possibly know, completely blowing me away with her accuracy. Crystal is a total professional, a whole boss vibe, and she 100% ran that VIP section. If you want to elevate your venue, hire her immediately."

Sassafras Tarot
"It was an absolute delight to have Sassafras Tarot read for me and my friends at my birthday party! It was just a small group of my closest friends so we all decided to sit together to hear each others readings. It would have been just as lovely to get private readings but something about getting your cards read communally was so special and a new experience I'll treasure forever. I would love to have her back for my future birthdays and make it a tradition to have our cards read each year to keep track of our growth. Rorie is an incredibly professional, a warm and friendly person, and astute reader and I'd highly recommend her to anyone interested in her services!"
Higher Power Readings
"This year I organized the first large party at my place of work (for long-term care residents, their families, staff and their families) since 2019. Things went off without a hitch! Partially due to Curtis coming on time (early to set up and be ready for the first arrivals), looking sharp, and having his table looking nice and inviting. His service complimented the fair nicely, and people of all walks of life seemed to be having fun at his table. I recommend Curtis."
