Miguel Fernandez & GITANíA
"Wow! That's what our reaction as well as all of our guests reactions were when Miguel and Gitania performed as the band for our wedding. Their music is unbelievable. We loved them! Absolutely entertaining and beautiful. And just as important, they are incredible human beings. Very kind, respectful, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We valued them as our guests and not just a band because they were unbelievable to work with and played a big part for our special wedding day. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you again Miguel and Gitania. You will always have a special place in our hearts with the amazing music you performed and the wonderful process it was to work with you."
Cinecittà Trio
"We had the pleasure of having Niccolò and Roberto perform at our recent gathering in Teverina, and we couldn’t have asked for a better musical experience.
Both are accomplished guitarists in their own right, but together, they create something truly special. It’s immediately clear that they love playing together , their synergy is effortless, their timing intuitive, and their shared joy in the music is contagious. Whether performing classic Italian favorites, jazz-infused melodies, or warm acoustic interpretations, they play with both technical mastery and heartfelt expression. Niccolò’s vocals were a standout — warm, expressive, and full of character. His voice carried both intimacy and charm, perfectly complementing the mood of the evening.
What impressed us most was their ability to read the crowd and shape the atmosphere. As the evening unfolded, their repertoire shifted seamlessly, setting a relaxed tone during the aperitivo, creating energy during dinner, and offering just the right balance of sophistication and soul throughout. They didn’t just play songs , they curated a musical journey that enhanced the entire evening.
Niccolò and Roberto brought not only their talent, but their warmth and presence. We would wholeheartedly recommend them for any event where authentic, beautiful, and memorable music is desired. Grazie mille!"

Call me Winston - The Tarantino tribute
"The effectiveness of music in Quentin Tarantino's five films has much to do with the way he perceives music. Tarantino thinks that songs in general function as miniature films.
He views music as a way to extend the plots of his films. The soundtrack has the responsibility not only of setting the tone of the scene, but also of bringing clarity to emotions that are not fully expressed by the characters.
All of this works seamlessly because Tarantino hears the song first, then writes a scene around it. It is therefore not surprising that music has such a remarkable impact in his films.
How does music affect the way we perceive Tarantino's films? It is true that all music will make the viewer react emotionally, but what matters to Tarantino is that, most of the time, music produces what he perceives as the "appropriate" emotional impact on a scene. For example, if something other than "Stuck in the Middle With You" had been chosen to accompany the "ear cutting" scene in Reservoir Dogs, the audience might never have known about Mr Blonde's sadistic tendencies.
The key to Tarantino's success in avoiding music perceived as just "adequate" is that he writes all his film scripts with specific music in mind. By being determined in his selection, Tarantino ensures that the music of Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol.1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 plays an active role in the narrative structure of the film and, equally important, that it does something the audience will want to remember.
These are the memories that the members of Call me Winston wish to bring back to the viewer.
