Rates for violin players in Warrington begin at about £120 for a single short set, with most quotes coming in near £340 and experienced electric acts carrying their own sound equipment reaching £850+. Set length drives the figure more than anything else, followed by whether the performance is acoustic or electric and how far the player travels. Learning a specific piece for a processional or first dance usually adds a small fee, and covering a ceremony and an evening reception together costs more than a single set. Ask for a written quote that states set length, arrival time and the rate if the schedule overruns. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Echo Strings
"We can’t thank Echo String Quartet enough- they made our day perfect. The girls were all such lovely people, and they were so professional. They listened to all our requests and they even helped us out at the church with playing the hymns- a last minute spanner in the works from us! Honestly, you were incredible and so many guests have commented on how wonderful the music was. Thank you so so much."
Nell Violinist
"Nell played at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and her playing really set the tone for the day. Beautiful classical music for our ceremony and more up beat music for our reception. We would highly recommend her!"
Sounds Interesting String Quartet
"Dear Anne,
Thank you, once again, for organising a lovely group of players for me. Everyone was so nice to work with. Considering the amount of notes that we had to play last night - it was a fantastic job. The audience had a really good evening and there were many excellent comments. Thank you, for leading in your usual friendly and professional way. It's always a privilege to work with you. Please pass on my thanks to the players - I am looking forward to the B minor Mass after Christmas!
All the best.
Peter"
Kate Violin
"Kate's pre event contactablity was excellent, her manner very pleasant, she was punctual, undemanding and very helpful and that was before she had even played a note. She performed to a mixed age audience and held us spell-bound by her variety of music which she had selected based upon a brief resume we sent her. The mix of modern, popular and classical music was both recognisable to most and certainly enjoyed by all. She is also such an unassuming young woman. From an audience of circa 200 we wish her every success in the entertainment industry. We will certainly invite her back in the future."
CAVE - Special Events Violinist
"Jo played for us during the whole evening from our pre-dinner drinks reception, during our meal and afterwards. Her set was all carefully crafted together as a musical journey and given much thought. She has a great repertoire from classical right through to hit songs of modern artists. A journey in time and for us it brought back memories from our young and undergrad days. 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' got a huge round of applause. I really enjoyed the two ELO numbers she specially arranged for me, 'Sweet Talkin Woman' and 'Mr Blue Sky'. What a fantastic evening!"
Nadia Violin
