I require a small performance space (approximately 2 x 2 meters) with access to one power socket if amplification is needed.
A chair or small table for personal belongings is appreciated.
I need to know the exact address and the best way to access the venue (especially if there are stairs or a separate artist entrance).
It’s also helpful to know if there is a sound system available for connection and whether the volume level is limited by a sound limiter.
I bring my own violin, wireless microphone for the violin, and playback device for backing tracks.
I don’t currently provide speakers, but I can easily connect to the venue’s existing sound system via an AUX or Bluetooth connection.
Simple stage lighting provided by the venue is usually sufficient.
Yes, I can play background music from Spotify or a prepared playlist before and between my sets if required.
I can either use my own selection or play the client’s chosen playlist.
The best gig I’ve ever done was during my time in China, performing in the cities of Zhangjiajie and Changsha. I had the opportunity to play both as part of an orchestra and in a string quartet, which was a wonderful experience. The audiences were very engaged and appreciative, and it was exciting to adapt our repertoire to different cultural tastes. The best venues I worked at there were the beautiful concert halls in these cities, which had amazing acoustics and an elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented our performances
My favorite types of events are weddings, corporate events, and performances in hotels. I love weddings because they are full of emotion and joy, and it’s rewarding to contribute to such a special day with live music. Corporate events are exciting because they often require a polished, professional performance that creates a sophisticated atmosphere. And performing in hotels is wonderful as well, especially in elegant settings, where the audience can truly enjoy the music while relaxing or dining
I have experience performing both in orchestras and smaller ensembles, like string quartets. I started gigging professionally during my time in China. Before that, I performed extensively while studying at the conservatory, participating in student concerts and collaborative projects. Since then, I’ve expanded my experience to weddings, corporate events, and hotel performances. I enjoy adapting my repertoire to different settings and creating a memorable atmosphere for the audience
I have been greatly influenced by artists who combine classical technique with a contemporary style. One of my biggest inspirations is David Garrett, who I consider a modern-day Paganini. I especially love his arrangement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, where he brings a fresh, energetic, and emotional interpretation to a classical masterpiece. His performances inspire me to explore both technical precision and expressive depth in my own playing.
I normally arrive about 1.5–2 hours before the performance to set up and soundcheck. I usually perform 2 sets of 45–60 minutes each. I’m flexible and happy to adjust the set length depending on the event and the audience.
Yes, I’m happy to perform outside. I would just need a shaded area, a flat surface to play on, and access to a nearby power supply if amplification is needed.
I can learn specific songs before the event, usually up to 3–5 pieces. Clients are welcome to choose from my repertoire, or I can create a program for them based on the type of event and the atmosphere they want.
Previous clients often describe my performances as elegant, emotional, and engaging. They appreciate how I adapt to the mood of the event and create a memorable atmosphere with my music
Some of my recent clients include the Ukrainian organization ‘Єдність’ at a private event, and the restaurant Mákos Guba Bisztró Bazilika.
