We don't need a minimum space for our roaming performances, and we provide battery-powered amplification where required.

For our evening party band performances or those with speaker and lighting systems , we require a performance space c.4m wide x 3m deep, and a minimum of 2 x 13amp power sockets. A parking space per band member is also required.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We can provide our own PA system as well as party lighting systems appropriate for guest numbers up to 200 people.

Yes, we’re happy to provide a manned playlist before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. We can also provide full DJ services inconjunction with any of our bookings.

Being such a unique and different band we've been invited to many exciting and interesting performances and venues. From performing for the BBC's Rogue Traders ("can you play ukulele and run at the same time??"), to performing on tidal islands, Premier League Football teams and tech giants, it's privilege to play in the band because every performance is different and you never know what's going to happen next!

We love any event where we can get up close to the guests! Roaming and interacting with guests makes so much difference to the vibe of a celebration that it's endlessly fun and enjoyable! Taking requests, singing favourite songs, engaging with guests - time flies and it feels incredible to be making a difference to people at the special occasions!

Before we started the Ukes of Hazzard we were in an original band together during University and a few years thereafter, playing all over our local area, getting radio play and aspiring. to be the next big thing! Since then we worked hard at becoming professional musicians, and the Ukes of Hazzard was born!

From jazz icons like Martin Taylor and Joe Pass, to rock legends like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, the guitar greats have really influenced me. For me, Jeff Buckley's 'Lover, You Should've Come Over' is a masterpiece of writing, performing and recording - endlessly beautiful! Playing music from these greats on the ukulele is really fun - the juxtaposition really works and never ceases to entertain people!

For an evening party band set up, 90 minutes is the ideal minimum for the four piece band with the speaker system and lights.

For an acoustic roaming performance it could be as little as 5 minutes! In terms of performing, we normally perform 2 x 60 minutes or 3 x 40 minute sets.

We're happy to play outside - as a roaming band we can play anywhere using our battery powered amplification - the only limit is your imagination!

For our party band with speaker system and lighting we can perform outside, but ask for cover to be provided in the event of inclement weather or blazing sunshine.

Yes, absolutely! We ask you to let us know which songs you'd prefer NOT to hear, and the songs you'd really like to hear to give us guidance on what you like. From here we build the set to enable us to follow the vibe of the dancefloor and keep guests entertained, so like to have flexibility to play the songs which are going to make the party memorable for being the best ever! (That's part of the reason to have a top quality band, after all!)

Absolutely. Whether it's a venue's own system to keep the neighbours happy, a your own team managing a larger event with many moving parts, we can integrate ourselves into these settings and optimise what we do in order to provide you and your associates with a professional, musical and entertaining experience!

Yes, if required, we're very happy to supply and perform with electric drum kits. While an acoustic drum kit is preferred, we understand electric kits are easier to tame and better for the more sensitive of neighbours!

We learn your favourite songs, choreograph our music to your dances, play songs from your hen do or stag do, get your talented guests up to sing with us, roam through your loved ones, get your input on the songs we play, and we also provide a special, bespoke, unique gift to remember the music from your day... it's really thoughtful!
