Yes, I'm completely self contained. I bring my own PA system to all of my gigs.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
My best gig I've ever done was performing at the Halifax Jazz Festival in Summer 2025. That is also the best venue I ever worked at.

I started gigging at high school and and have performed in front of thousands since, in the States and in Canada.
David Sanborn is my favourite artist, and the greatest song of all time is After The Love Has Gone by Earth Wind & Fire.
I usually arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 30 minute sets (1 hour gig) or 3 x 30 minute sets (1.5 hour gig) or 3 x 40 minute sets (2 hour gig). I'm happy to play a bit longer or shorter, according to your needs.
I'm happy to play outside, but I ask for shade/cover, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
I can learn specific songs before the event but usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
I provide ambience for a calm evening at cocktail hour and can also provide energy before the DJ comes out with the dance music.
I play the soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones, and bring these to all gigs.
