CLAUDIO MERCANTE from Dublin I'm a seasoned guitarist and singer, originally from italy. I moved to Ireland in 2007 where I started to perform professionally in all major venues in the country, touring with my own bands. In the past couple of years I built few weekly residency shows in very popular pubs in Dublin. I always adapt style, repertoire and intensity of the show to the environment around me.
My influences are in the old school rock'n'roll, blues, soul and folk. I love playing Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis but also 80s bangers from the likes of Queen or Depeche Mode. I also love playing 90s hits from bands like Blur, Nirvana or R.E.M. Every show I play is unique, I feed off the energy from the audience.
