Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We need space for a light drum set and a guitar player at least. For performances longer than 2 hours, a power socket might be necessary.

What information do you require about a venue?

- Photos of the venue to see the space where we will perform to plan the setting better;
- Directions;
- At least one parking spot.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We provide a simple but robust sound system. A PA at the venue is not required but desirable.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. All to be agreed with the contractor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

It's hard to decide between all of them. Usually open-ar weddings are the most exciting ones.
We played once in UCD campus. It was gentle and smooth and the interactions with students and staff were so enthusiatic.

We performed in many pubs of Dublin such as The International, Dockers, The Buteco, The Star Bar. By far, the best venue we worked with is Mary's Pub & Hardware, where we still have gigs every Wednesday 8pm.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite. The atmosphere is always very charming and heartwarming. It matches our style.

Corporate events are also on the top shelf. In those we can be more energetic and interactive.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We start busking constantly in Dublin city center and other locations (Malahide, Dún Laoghaire, Bray, Howt, Drogheda, Galway, Cork) and then we manage to get gigs in pubs and contacts for events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Our most relevant influences are Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Django Reinhardt, Kenny Burrel, John Coltrane, Cole Porter, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Joe Pass, Chet Baker, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Johnson, Robert Cray, Robben Ford, Julian Lage and many others.

The greatest song of all time? That is so cruel to answer.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets with a 20 minutes break. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs and we have to be warned in advance . The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group, classy, elegant, interactive, gentle, versatile that loves to get the audience to sing and join every bit of the show.
