If so, you're in luck! I can play the sax to enhance your experience. If you're looking for the perfect accompaniment to a chill afternoon, a meal or a drinks reception, I'll play smooth jazz to massage your ears. If partying is more the vibe, then pair me up with a DJ or large PA system and get the party started with a huge variety of pop, EDM, house or funk tracks! You might know of an even better place to put a sax in your event - I'm all ears. I'd love to hear what you have in mind and how I can help.

Do you have much experience?

I do have a fair amount! The jist of it goes something like this

• 20 years of experience as a versatile multi-instrumentalist (classical piano, saxes, clarinets, steel pans, flute)
• Strong sense of the "party vibe" from regular playing with pop/house/EDM DJs in live settings.
• Critically acclaimed composition experience, giving me the ability to construct soulful improvisation that touches the heart of the music.
• The option to include a wide variety of electronic effects into my performances, if appropriate.

What do you do when you're not doing gigs from Gigheaven?

I tour south-west England with acts under the Earcandy arts label. I perform with a few different function bands that play modern and classic pop hits, and collaborate with DJs to play Ibiza-sax. I also play lead alto in a modern Big Band, tenor sax and bass clarinet in a neo-soul group. In my downtime I particularly love listening to contemporary tracks, funk, and nu-jazz, besides writing my own of course!
