About / Biography

I am a professional tenor saxophonist providing high‑quality live music for weddings, parties, corporate events, and special occasions across South Wales and the wider UK. My performances blend musical sensitivity with a polished, modern sound, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and memorable. Whether performing smooth background sets, upbeat party favourites, or bespoke arrangements tailored to a couple’s first dance, I bring a warm tone, refined technique, and a friendly, professional presence to every event.

My style covers a wide range of genres, including contemporary pop, soul, jazz, Ibiza‑style sax with DJ, R&B, dance classics, and romantic ballads. I perform with backing tracks or alongside professional bands and DJs, adapting seamlessly to the energy of the room. Clients often comment on my versatility, reliability, and the way my playing enhances the emotional impact of their event.

I hold ABRSM Grade 8 in Tenor Saxophone and a BA (Hons) in Popular Music, and I have performed with respected artists such as Nick Turner, Mo Pleasure, Natasha Watts, and various professional DJs. I have also opened for Liam “Rocky” Reese at a major arena event, demonstrating my ability to perform confidently in high‑profile settings.

My approach is friendly, courteous, and fully client‑focused. I work closely with couples and organisers to shape the perfect musical backdrop, offering tailored setlists, flexible performance options, and a calm, professional experience from first enquiry to final note. Whether you’re looking for smooth, atmospheric music during drinks and dining or high‑energy sax lines to lift the dancefloor, I deliver a performance designed to elevate your event and leave a lasting impression.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I play with backing track music through a pair of speakers I can walk around the venue with. This suffices for the majority of venues, but for particularly large or loud venues, an XLR port for my Bluetooth saxophone mic and a connection for my phone would be needed. I'm happy to perform with DJs and bands.

What information do you require about a venue?

Directions to the venue, when to arrive, bearing in mind set-up can take 15 to 30 minutes, decibel limits, how large the venue is to accommodate the adaptation of using a Bluetooth mic

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Sound equipment yes, no lighting equipment.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Not currently, but that's on the horizon. However, I'm more than happy to take requests upon the date of the event. If they want those songs more polished however, requests should be placed at 2-3 weeks at before the event for time to practice.
