Duo Chromatiek grew out of the strong musical connection between the two musicians during their studies at the LUCA School of Arts (Campus Lemmens). Later on, the clarinet – piano duo was selected by Orpheus Institute to take part in a programme focused on artistic and professional development within the filed of chamber music for two years. They already performed in different cities and are looking forward to their future.
The name Duo Chromatiek refers to the rich spectrum of colors and sounds that music can create and share with its audience.
They are passionate about discovering new possibilities for their ensemble and enjoy the challenge of interpreting works not originally written for their instrumentation.
= areas covered (up to 55 miles)We are flexible for this. We can play a classical repertoire fro Schumann to contemporary. We can play movie music from different composers like Hans Zimmer, John Williams and ..... We can play different old songs and pop songs.

We played a house concert for musicians. We found it cozy and friendly. We live to communicate withusic in a positive way.
Each event has it's own character. We live to play different sorts of music in different events.
We met at school, became friends and colleagues until now.
We have a lot of artists that we like.
We come normally an hour before. We play 1 hour in a classical concerts but for events we are open to do more hours depending on an event and kind of music we play.
We live to play outside but we ask for a tent in case it rains, a flat stage, power supply and warming device or a fan in a case of a very cold or hot weather.
We are open to hear and adjust as much as possible to it.
