Our favorite gig was a wedding reception at the Sun Valley Barn in Pella, Iowa. We played a larger swing dance-focused set and entertained a number of dancers through the night! The line dance formed in the middle of the set is a cherished moment of ours.

We love playing for cocktail hours and private events!

We started as a mix of students and alumni from Pella's Central College following the dissolution of Central's final vocal jazz program. Since our first gig at a Mardi Gras event in Newton, we have played for swing dances, weddings, and private events at venues including the Pella Opera House and wedding venues in the central Iowa area.

We are influenced by the bebop, swing, and smooth jazz styles. Our favorite tunes are those popularized by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nat King Cole.

We normally arrive 2 hours prior to a performance to set up and sound check. If we play longer than 1.5 hours, we will introduce a brief break in the middle of the set.

We are happy to play outside so long as our set-up requirements are met.

We will add requested songs if requested on a negotiated basis.

Our trio has been described as relaxed and consistent. Full group performances are higher in energy and encourage dancing!
