Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I only need a small performance space (around 2m x 2m), access to one standard power socket, and a safe spot to set up my PA. A nearby parking or loading area is helpful for bringing equipment in and out.

What information do you require about a venue?

It’s useful to know the best place to load in, whether there’s parking on site, and if the venue uses a sound limiter. Any guidance on where you’d like me positioned for the performance is also appreciated.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes — I’m fully self-contained. I bring my own professional PA system, loop station and all required gear. I don’t require any equipment from the venue.
Although, not lights :(

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, absolutely. I can play background music before, between and after my sets. You can choose the playlist, or I can select something that fits the atmosphere.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The most memorable one was at Nightjar in Shoreditch. The room just suited my style perfectly — low-lit, intimate, and full of people who were actually listening rather than talking. It felt like every note landed exactly where it should, and the whole place was tuned into the set.

What's your favourite type of event?

I enjoy all kinds of events, but my favourite are the ones where people genuinely listen — wine bars, lounges, and dinner settings where the atmosphere is curated and the music becomes part of the experience. Those nights bring out the best in my playing.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging when I first moved to London and built everything up from solo acoustic bar sets to curated jazz and blues nights, private events, and regular residencies across the city. Over the years I’ve played hundreds of shows — restaurants, bars, hotel lounges, brunches, and rooftop evenings — and developed a style that blends jazz, blues, folk and soulful acoustic music.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My musical foundations come from blues and modern guitar songwriting — artists like John Mayer, Bill Withers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eric Clapton have shaped the way I play and approach tone.
Favourite artist? Probably John Mayer for the mix of songwriting, groove and guitar work.
Greatest song of all time — impossible to choose, but “Ain’t No Sunshine” is one I never get tired of playing; simple, soulful, and timeless.

What makes your live set different from other solo guitarists?

I blend jazz phrasing, blues roots, and a warm acoustic sound to create a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. My sets are designed to feel polished but never intrusive — perfect for venues that want music people actually listen to.

Are you comfortable working in different types of venues?

Yes — I regularly play bars, restaurants, hotel lounges, private dinners and riverboat events. I’m fully self-contained with professional gear and can load in quickly, even in busy central London locations.

How did you develop your sound?

I come from a blues background, but years of gigging around London shaped my sound into a mix of jazz, soul and modern acoustic guitar playing. It’s a blend that works equally well for listening rooms and laid-back social environments.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually arrive 45–60 minutes before the start time to set up my PA, run a quick sound check and settle into the space.
My most common formats are:

2 × 45 minutes,

3 × 40 minutes,
or a relaxed continuous set for more ambient evenings.
I’m flexible and can adapt timings to fit the flow of the event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes — I’m happy to perform outdoors as long as there is proper cover, a flat surface and a safe power source close to the performance area. Shade or shelter is essential to protect the equipment.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are welcome to guide the vibe — jazz-leaning, bluesy, soulful acoustic, more upbeat, or more background. I’m happy to take a couple of song requests in advance, and I’ll shape the set on the day to fit the atmosphere. Most people prefer to let me read the room and build the flow naturally.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Most describe it as warm, soulful and atmospheric — music that adds character without overwhelming the room. I’m often complimented on creating a relaxed, intimate feel that gets people listening, even in busy spaces.
