Two venues that stand out for us are Radio City Valencia and Hard Rock Cafe Valencia. At Radio City, we played for a very international audience and loved seeing people from different countries connect with the music and feel at home. Hard Rock Cafe Valencia also stands out for its atmosphere and beautiful setting, making it a great place to perform.

Weddings are definitely among our favourite events to play. They are such special occasions, and we really enjoy being part of a day that means so much to people. But we also love all kinds of events, corporate or otherwise. There’s something very rewarding about seeing a group of people come together, let go, sing, dance and enjoy the moment. That connection with the audience is what makes live music so special to us.

We are all professional musicians with experience in different projects and formats, including some of the most common circuits in Spain, such as professional party and cover bands. At some point, we wanted to create something of our own — a project that felt more personal and closer to the way we understand music.
That’s how Groovin’ started. We began playing in some of Valencia’s well-known small venues, gradually building our audience and developing the sound and identity of the band. Along the way, we’ve had the support of our families, friends and fellow musicians from the Valencia music scene, who have been an important part of the journey.
What started as a project we created because we wanted to do something that felt more like us has grown into the band we are today.

We’ve been influenced by a wide range of artists, from Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse and the Bee Gees to Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, ABBA and Queen. We love artists with a strong identity who can move between different styles and sounds.
Choosing a favourite artist is difficult, but Michael Jackson would probably be our choice, especially for his versatility, musicality and ability to make so many different styles feel completely natural.
As for the greatest song of all time… that’s impossible for us to answer. There are simply too many. If we had to choose one song that we love and that also represents what we enjoy doing as a band, Sweet Child O’ Mine would definitely be up there — especially our own funk interpretation of it.

We reinterpret well-known songs across funk, pop, soul and rock, while keeping the melodies and essence that make them familiar. We work on our own arrangements, sounds and dynamics to give each song a fresh personality without losing what people love about the original.

We usually arrive around 2 hours before the performance, allowing enough time for setup, soundcheck and any final preparations. We always make sure everything is ready well in advance so we can start on time.
Our standard set is around 90 minutes to 2 hours, which works very well for most events. We are also happy to adapt the performance time to the needs of the event when required.

Absolutely. We love playing outdoors whenever weather conditions allow it. There’s something special about the space, the openness and seeing people enjoying live music in the open air. The sound behaves differently outdoors, but the atmosphere and the way people experience the music can be really special.
We also really enjoy indoor venues, where the space tends to feel more intimate and the connection with the audience can be even closer. Both settings have their own character, and we enjoy adapting to each one.

We have a carefully curated setlist that we know works well for our shows, so we usually keep it fairly consistent. However, we love giving each event a personal touch, and we’re happy to include one or two song requests as a courtesy, whenever they fit our style and can be prepared in advance.
