We are versitile and will make your night special: we can start the night by creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with chilled grooves and smooth tunes. We will also fill the dance floor with fun energy. Hook Lava’s curated setlist is a mix of new tunes and popular classics that are played in a dance-funk style that guests of all ages will enjoy.
You’ll enjoy dancing to songs from artists such as Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Michael Jackson, Jamiroquai and the Bee Gees, from the 70s to present. We also apply our unique style of funk to artists such as The Beatles, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.

For a wedding, we normally perform 2 x 40 min sets of chilled music and 2 x 50 min dance sets. For corporate events, we normally perform 2 x 1hr sets
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
More typically for weddings, we can learn one or two songs of your choosing.
