We need a typical performance area of at least 4 × 4 m with a ceiling of at least 3 m (3.5 m is ideal) - less is possible after consultation. Six 230 V power sockets. The organiser provides a PA system and a sound engineer who is on site from the moment we arrive. During the show the whole room should be dark. Off stage we ask for a lockable, heated changing room, one parking space close to the venue and 2 kg of ice kept in a freezer for our fog machine.

Please tell us the ceiling height above the performance area, whether the room can be fully darkened and what the floor surface is like - an uneven surface needs to be discussed in advance. We also need to know where we can park and unload, where the changing room is, and if the venue has any restrictions on fog effects. After the booking is confirmed we ask for the contact details of your event production and sound engineer so we can plan the sound check.

We bring our own lighting: wireless LED lights, a mobile LED stage programmed to the music and a low-lying fog machine. Sound is not included as standard, we connect to the venue's or organiser's PA system. If there is no sound system available, we can bring our own as an extra service with a separate quote.

We arrive early enough to connect the violin and in-ear monitoring and to run a sound and space check without guests, which has to finished at least 60 minutes before the show. One set lasts around 12 minutes, and you can book one to three sets during the evening, for example an opening act, a set between band performances and a midnight surprise.

Yes, on a flat, covered stage. We cannot perform in rain. The light effects only work after dark, so outdoor shows are best planned for the evening.

We put together the set for each event to suit the audience, from film and classical themes to pop and rock hits. If you have a song you would love to hear, for example for a first dance or a company anthem, we can arrange and prepare it as an extra paid service. Just mention it in your enquiry.
