Featuring violin, vocals, guitar, double bass and accordion, La Mancha offers an elegant and original musical experience with a distinctive swing feel. The repertoire includes French songs, jazz standards and classics in Spanish and English, evoking the atmosphere of Parisian cafés and the spirit of traditional jazz.

We need enough space for four musicians and their instruments, ideally around 4 x 3 meters, with access to power outlets. Technical requirements may vary depending on the venue, audience size and whether sound equipment is provided.
We’d appreciate information about the audience expected size, venue location, access and parking, as well as the available performance space and sound equipment.
We can provide our own sound equipment for small to medium-sized spaces and audiences. For larger venues or events with bigger audiences, a professional sound system provided by the venue or an external sound engineer will be required.
We don’t offer a DJ service, but we can discuss options for background music before and between our sets
We've performed at prominent venues such as the Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris, the Auditorio Blas Galindo of the CENART and the Museo Tamayo; at festivals (Festival Internacional de Jazz de Irapuato, the Ejazz Puebla) and in the leading jazz clubs of Mexico City (Zinco Jazz Club, Jazzátlan, Casa Franca, Parker & Lenox).
We love playing in all kinds of venues, but especially enjoy events where our music can create a warm, elegant atmosphere with a touch of French charm and plenty of swing. From intimate cocktail receptions to lively private parties, we love sharing our music with an audience.
La Mancha was founded in Mexico City in 2021 by French violinist and singer Clara Sinou, who studied jazz and performed in New Orleans. After the pandemic, the band began playing at some of Mexico City's main jazz clubs and gradually expanded to private events, prestigious venues and festivals.
Our main influences are Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the pioneers of gypsy jazz. We love timeless music, from French chanson (Barbara, Brassens, Trenet, Aznavour) to jazz standards (Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday) and Mexican classics. Choosing the greatest song of all time? That's impossible!
We usually arrive 1–2 hours before the performance, depending on the venue and sound setup. We can adapt our performance format to the event, with options such as 2 x 45-minute sets or a continuous performance by arrangement.
Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors, provided there is a flat, stable and shaded performance area, protection from rain and direct sun, and access to a nearby power supply. Instruments must be protected from extreme weather conditions.
We have a varied repertoire of French chanson, gypsy jazz, swing and classics in French, Spanish and English. Clients are welcome to share their preferences, and we can tailor the setlist to suit the atmosphere and style of the event. Special song requests can be discussed in advance.
La Mancha offers an elegant and engaging musical experience, combining the charm of French chanson with the warmth of acoustic jazz and plenty of swing. Our distinctive sound and international repertoire create a welcoming atmosphere for a wide range of events.
