We need a performance space of at least 3 meters x 3 meters. We require 2 power sockets, easy access for unloading and loading 1 car, and 1 parking space.

Access for unloading and loading (for the car, if there are stairs, etc.) Access to parking. How early we may come to setup.

Yes, we are completely self contained (but if the venue has their own sound and lighting equipment it will take less time for us to unload, load, and set-up).

We are happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music between our sets.

We performed at the Flint Jazz Festival and won the WEMU Jazz Festival Solo/Duo Category award (both in the Detroit area). We loved performing at the harbors and beaches around Los Angeles and Ventura County California.

We love playing at all sorts of events but especially those where the guests can listen and enjoy or get up and dance (whichever makes them happy).

Diana and James Lidgett are veterans of the Detroit and Los Angeles Jazz scenes. They met on stage while performing at a Jazz Festival in Detroit and have worked together since the 1980s. Diana and James have performed extensively as a duo as well as with larger ensembles. Their Jazz Duo won 1st prize in the Solo/Duo Category at the WEMU Heritage Jazz Competition. James is founder and leader of the Latin Jazz Ensemble CORCOVADO. Their more recent performances (since moving to Västra Götaland, Sweden) feature many of their own compositions as well as fresh and unique arrangements of works from the great jazz composers. Their sound includes Latin jazz (Brazilian, Afro Cuban, African), straight ahead, and choice standards.

All of the legendary jazz artists from the 20th century.

We normally request 1 hour before the performance to set up. We have 3 x 45 minute sets available but these can be structured around the needs of the client (for example, we can play 1 x 55 minute set, or 2 x 50 minute sets, etcetera).

We are happy to play outside but we ask for a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area. In addition, in if rain is forecasted we request a tent or some type of over head cover.

Clients may make requests for what we play in advance of our performance. Otherwise we prepare our own set lists.

Both breathtaking and high energy (depending on the composition).
