guidance of Professor Petar Karparov, and went on to complete his study of music
in Italy, obtaining his diploma from the Conservatory of Verona in 2001.
Lilian Stoimenov won the competition for young talent in Pleven, Bulgaria in 1985
whilst playing as Lead Trumpet in Sofia's "Pioner" youth orchestra.
In 1986 Stoimenov began to work in the world of show business, playing with the
Big Band of the Varetà Theatre in Sofia and working with internationally
famous soloists such as, Paul Belfort, Gina Davide, Sandra Welss and
Dona Freeman.
In 1992 and 1993 he participated at the Eurovisia Festival in Malta
as guest solist.
He also played in the Orchestra of the Varietà Theatre in Stuttgard, Germany.
Since 1993 Lilian Stoimenov has worked in Italian show business with television
stars such as Pippo Baudo, Gerry Scotti, Ornella Muti, Mike Buongiorno,
Mara Venier, Moni Ovadia, Maurizio Costanzo, Alain Delon,
Moira Orfei, Walter Nones, Paolo Bonolis, David Larible, Toto Cotugno,
Filippa Lagerback, Giampiero Galeazzi, Katia Ricciarelli.......
Stoimenov presently lives in Verona and performs with numerous classical
soloists as well as soloists from the world of jazz and blues.
In 2001 Lilian participated at the Livorno Jazz Festival together with various
internationally famous artists including Billy Cobham, Eric Udel, Tony Coleman,
Herbie Goins, Sandra Hall, Big Jesse Yawn, Louisiana Mojo Queen, Robert
Bachner, Tony Esposito, Roberto Gatto, Francesco Bearzatti and Rosario Giuliani.
