" Review received on 5/13/2021 Fantastic entertainment Number 9 Coal performed for my dad’s 60th birthday party. They were professional and timely. The music sounded great! So many guests complimented us on the band. A great time was had by all! They also personalized the experience by singing happy birthday and taking song requests from the birthday boy. "Wow! Just wow! I contacted Alberto with a very short notice and he travelled for 3 hours just to perform for us. I had planned a surprise engagement and requested a mix of Italian and american songs. He delivered 100% and his voice is amazing! I recommend you book Alberto!! "

"I did a great live recording session with Sandra & Paul at Capital Radio at London Leicester Square supporting the singer Lucy Layton. Sandra & Paul were very professional providing a solid performance on acoustic guitar and electric violin. The recording sounded very good and was a pleasure to work with such a friendly group of musos."

"So talented! So fun! Great addition to our party! Number 9 Coal played for 3 hours at my brother's rehearsal dinner and welcome party in November '21. They were fantastic! They were on time, communicated great, were professional and the music was excellent. They even took the time to learn a new song to surprise my brother and his fiance. "No Funny Stuff the perfect musical group. Adaptable to every type of event. I have called them for Christmas Parties, Classy Corporate Events, Weddings big and small, Street Festivals and Clubs. I even had them play my personal birthday party. They are very unique and the strange and crazy instruments they build and the huge sound they create, always gets the audience involved and on their feet. As a promoter they come through and my clients praise me every time. "

"Jools performed at the Playhouse sessions in Stratford between lockdowns last year. He performed after 2 strong acts which is always a tough gig. What you got was high quality music accompanied by Jools’s relaxed demeanour. Jools give a thoughtful description of each tune with humour a constant thread throughout which helped build a strong relationship with the audience. Jools is always prepared to take a risk with his music and challenge boundaries with fine delivery. Already re booked him for later this year."
