"Party Singers duo played at my birthday celebration in Kaikoura. Absolutely fantastic! Great selection of music played, I've had lots of good comments from the crowd also. "AMAZING! Where do I start….. From the very first time meeting Craig & Jess we knew this was the band for us, but they were so much more than we could have dreamed of! RnB, Funk, Garage they had it all! For our aisle walk, and first dance Alvyn knocked it our the park, and when Jess and the rest of the band kicked in during the reception and late in to the night they made sure the dance floor was full the entire night. The playlist they chose to play really suited our personalities and of our guests, so much so they nearly didn’t get the mic back! The saxophonist was also unreal! We had so many comments about how amazing the band were and we wholeheartedly agree. Thankyou all so much for making our day so special, we just need to find an excuse to book you again! Much love"

"Michele is wonderful to work with. He is an amazing musician and singer, as well as DJ. He executed all of the music on our wedding day. For our ceremony, we had songs that we wanted played at specific moments from our playlist, and he nailed the timing. He and his band played beautiful music during cocktail hour and kept the energy up. He then DJed the music from our playlists of favorite songs for our reception and afterparty disco. Our friends were having so much fun and didn't want the evening to end, they even chanted "one more song" at the end of the night and Michele was kind enough to stay and oblige. We really enjoyed working with him and his band! "

"From the time of our booking mid 2024 to our event in late March 2025, Leighton Gates has just been superb to work with in all aspects of our event planning. Saturday night was just brilliant with our 450 Rotarians and Rotaractors dancing the night away. From the second song onwards, we danced until the last song at nights end. Honi and Phil and the Standard Procedure band were just brilliant and did not miss a note! Thank you Leighton and your team and we look forward to seeing - and hearing you again soon!"

"We hired the Upbeats Duo for my wifes 50th birthday party and they were genuinely fantastic. Communication throughout the booking process and run up to the party was first class. They arrived on time and were set-up and ready to go exactly to the timetable we had agreed. The performance itself was really good and they had added a couple of my wife's favourites into the set. We were a fairly small group of fifty but that did not dampen the Upbeats enthusiasm. If you booked them for an event I can't see how you would be disappointed. "

"I used them for my 60th Birthday party for 150 guests. There was a great selection of music that was loved by people from 20 to 80 years of age. People even started dancing to the sound check! I would certainly use them again. Every song had people dancing to it."
