"We can highly recommend the Hammer Tones, who recently played at a family member’s 64th birthday. The band was just what our party needed. Great rock and roll tunes, and great playing by all band members. The band is very professional while also being warm and friendly. Their fees are very reasonable. They arrived early and on time to set up, were responsive to requests and provided clear communications in making the booking and coordinating about the details. Our guests had a great time, and and we will use them again for future events."

"Terrific Show I saw Michael Jackson at The Hartford Civic Center in 1988. One of the best concerts I’ve attended! He was quite the performer. It’s been a long time since then. Recently I had the pleasure of working with Matt Walsh for a company event in Orlando. I, with two other people, were in charge of booking the entertainment for the event. We settled on a Michael Jackson impersonator. We discovered Matt on Gig Salad. We contacted him. Everything was so easy and smooth. The lines of communication were perfect and Matt was a joy to work with, not to mention his incredible talent to bring our crowd such an event and pleasure AND to their feet with his performance!!! We all had a blast. Thumbs up to Matt Walsh."

"OliveTreeDance at Boom Festival 2016 – A Multi-Tribal Explosion of Sound Boom Festival 2016 was already an immersive celebration of art, music, and consciousness, but when OliveTreeDance took the stage, the entire experience was elevated to an entirely new dimension. The Portuguese tribal-dance powerhouse delivered a performance that was nothing short of hypnotic—a sonic ritual that ignited every cell in the bodies of those fortunate enough to witness it. From the very first vibration of the didgeridoo, the air became electric. Renato Oliveira (Oliver) wielded his instrument like a shaman leading a ceremony, his deep, pulsating drones setting the foundation for a transcendental dance journey. The fusion of earthy grooves and ethereal overtones created an atmosphere that felt ancient yet futuristic, grounding yet cosmic. The percussion was the heartbeat of the experience, an intricate network of beats that dictated the tempo of the trance. The drums were relentless yet perfectly controlled, shifting between deep tribal grooves and explosive, high-energy bursts that sent waves of movement rippling through the crowd. The interplay between the didgeridoo and the rhythmic section was pure alchemy—seamlessly weaving moments of intensity with hypnotic breakdowns, allowing dancers to ride the waves of sound like tribal nomads journeying through a sonic landscape. The energy of the performance was nothing short of infectious. The Boom crowd—already known for its uninhibited, ecstatic dance expression—was completely in sync with the music. Faces painted in fluorescent colors, feet stomping the dust into the air, arms reaching for the sky—this was more than a concert; it was a collective rite of passage into a state of pure rhythm-driven euphoria. As the set built to its peak, OliveTreeDance introduced unexpected sonic layers, from looping vocal chants to bursts of percussive madness, amplifying the trance-like effect. The synergy between musicians and audience was total, a feedback loop of energy and movement that defied the limits of what a live performance could achieve. By the time the last note echoed into the night, the Boom Festival dancefloor was left in a blissful daze—breathless, euphoric, transformed. "micheal played at my wedding last year not only was he amazing on the day he really went the extra mile offering to help out with other music on the day.he really did make our day I still speak to him to this day. I suppose you could say your not hiring a piper here your making a friend I could not recommend him highly enough."

"Thank you all so much. You were great and really added to our day. We wanted an authentic vintage jazz band for our wedding and Dr Jazz were perfect. You got everyone singing along to all the classics. The management at our venue said you were the best band they’d ever had. Really made our day go with a swing."
