From the moment he took the mic, the energy in the room transformed. He knew exactly how to engage the crowd, keep the vibe alive, and make every guest feel included and entertained. His sense of humor, charisma, and ability to read the room were top-tier. He blended fun, class, and spontaneity so effortlessly — it truly felt like he was born to do this. "I am a seasoned attendee of the Magic Castle, the world famous showcase of magic based in Los Angeles. I've seen dozens of magicians perform there throughout the years. I was recently invited to "China Week" at the castle, a celebration of Chinese magicians put together for the Lunar New Year. As part of this, I stepped up to the Library Bar, awaiting the next act which turned out to be Kemin Zhang. He was phenomenal! A truly engaging performer - he was personable and funny with us at the bar as we awaited for the act to begin - and his magic performance was unique and fun. He's the type of magician that has professional poise but also warm and friendly. I wish he were based in Los Angeles as I would enjoy the opportunity to see him perform more often. If I was looking for a stage magician to give an extended performance or a "mixing magician" to interact with guests for a party I would definitely hire him. A great magician with a sense of style and showmanship!"

Wow thank you for the great review! Magic Castle is always a great time, everytime I'm there, either as a performer or just hanging out, I feel like there's some real magic going on in the air! Thank you for sharing your memory of seeing my Magic Castle Library Bar act. I hope to spend more time in LA in the future and get to do a few gigs for you!

"We were so pleased to have Todd serve as the main entertainment for our Rib Ticklin’ Comedy Night fundraiser for the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. He had a very comfortable stage presence and his material was clean and full of very relatable topics. Todd was especially good at engaging and connecting with the audience and he kept them laughing from beginning to end. This was clean comedy at it’s finest!"

"Here’s the thing about Kemin, he is a born entertainer. Be it the excellent magic or his penchant for a witty tune, you will never come away disappointed (in fact quite the opposite) from whatever wildly varying repartee he has in his arsenal. I have seen him perform multiple times in both China & @ The Magic Castle in LA, but it was there especially, amongst a plethora of other acts & with the toughest gig in the house (performing more than the others, 5 x a night for a whole week, each time with the same aplomb as if it was his first) he had the random audiences eating out of this hand without fail (& perhaps more than, but definitely equal to the ‘top line’ acts) that I had to ‘doff my cap’ having served up a smorgasbord of ingenious illusions. He will have you gasping in amazement & rolling in the aisles in equal measure, so forget the rest, book the best. "

"Highly recommend - Professional and spot on! Did an incredible job at our work Christmas party. Prior to the event was very flexible and offered us a range of outfits she could wear to make sure that it fitted with the theme and also was happy to help in anyway possible. At the party, there were a few skeptical people but I think she changed a few minds! :) Thanks again. Steph"

"I've seen Joey live every time he has performed both in person and virtually. I follow him on all Socials and I've seen every post. He's hilarious, clever, creative and very entertaining. I highly recommend him for events if you're in need of an entertainer. He's also easy on the eyes! Ooh la la ? 10 out of 10 ?"
