"Paul was an exceptional addition to our wedding day, I’m so glad we had a musician of his calibre as part of our celebrations. He was a pleasure to deal with in the preparations, incredibly professional and focused on delivering a meaningful performance. So many of our family and friends commented on how much Paul added to the day! "

"This is a REALLY late review but I want the world to know what a great performance Steve puts on. He was a monthly performer at Shelby Crossing Senior Center when my mom was a resident and I enjoyed him so much that I asked him to play at my mom's funeral memorial. Everyone in attendance loved it as they knew my mom and dad were avid dancers and this was just the perfect sendoff."

"Luke was absolutely AMAZING! He travelled all the way to Cardiff to sing at my dad’s surprise 70th, his singing was incredible, he kept the vibes upbeat and got people on their feet. I would 100% recommend for any occasion, everyone was singing his praises - thanks again Luke! See you for his 80th!"

"Tim delivered an amazing performance and was the hit of the party. His Sinatra and Neil Diamond songs were spot on and made my mother‘s 80th birthday party an extra special evening to remember. Tim was responsive and the epitome of professionalism. Would highly recommend him and definitely would have him again."

"Luke was polite and friendly in all communication before the event. The suggested set list helped us pick the songs we wanted. On the day - wonderful music and everyone enjoyed the day. Highly recommend Luke."

"We just wanted to say thank you so much for entertaining us and our guests on our wedding day. You were absolutely perfect for us! We are still hearing about how amazing you were from all of our guests who were very impressed and had a great night. My dear Grandpa was a successful jazz singer back in his day and said it was just like seeing Frank Sinatra in his youth, he was very impressed with you indeed! Thank you so much for making the evening perfect for us, we couldn't have hoped for a better singer to celebrate our big day with! We will tell everyone about you!! Thanks again, Claire & Stu xxx "

Thank you so much, Claire & Stu! It was an absolute honour to perform at your wedding and be part of such a special celebration. Hearing that your guests — and especially your Grandpa — enjoyed the show means the world to me. I’m so glad the music helped make your evening unforgettable. If anyone’s searching for a live wedding singer or Michael Bublé-style performer in London or across the UK, I’d love to bring the same timeless swing, jazz, and soulful classics to your event. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!

"My wife and I popped along to see the popular Denis Cook's solo gig. Along with his regular set songs like: "Budapest" by George Ezra, an acoustic version of The Foundations "Baby Now That I’ve Found You", Neil Diamond's "Love On The Rocks" and "Sweet Caroline", even Chas & Dave's "Rabbit" Denis establishes a good rapport with his audience, some of whom are obviously regular fans, so there was plenty of joking, repartee and crowd participation during this gig which was played to a packed house and which saw Denis strumming guitar, ukulele, mandolin and blowing some decent harmonica too. Denis has learnt his craft well and along with his affable manner and fine vocal renditions which made for a very pleasant evening. (For those who may not already know, this talented man is also a well-respected DJ!) In any event, we had intended to stay only a short while but ended up staying put for a full, enjoyable 3 hours and although I didn't count, I'm told Denis played 52 songs in this extended set!"

"We would like to say a big thank you Annelise and to our homeowners and all those who visited the development for our Sing Your Heart Out event. We not only raised money for Royal Voluntary Service, but we also raised the roof! Everyone had a fabulously festive afternoon - it was a huge success! "

"Thank you for a brilliant set on Friday. Everything was great and we loved the song selection. I'm sure our guests felt the same as they did not leave the dancefloor all night"

"Tom performed at our wedding and we were all blown away. He had an amazing voice, which was so easy to listen to. Tom created a brilliant atmosphere with his music and even got our guests up dancing in no time! He really got us involved and we couldn't have asked for a better performance. He received so many compliments from our guests and the staff. Tom definitely made our evening even more enjoyable and we will book him again when ever we have the chance! Thank you so much for being apart of our wedding day and truly exceeding our expectations."

"The choice of this group for an event in the square proved successful: the four musicians were able to adapt their repertoire to the needs of a heterogeneous audience, alternating engaging and well-known songs with moments of listening that totally captivated the audience. The audience applauded but also danced, letting themselves be carried away by the festive atmosphere and joining in the singing. I definitely recommend them, both for an evening of entertainment and for a real concert of the highest level."

"A big mahalo to Bruddah Vince for performing at our restaurant on a busy Saturday. Not only does he have a large repertoire of songs and a soothing voice that everyone appreciates and enjoys, he has the true aloha spirit. No matter how many people recognize him, he doesn’t act like a big shot and remains approachable to all which is key for us. Can’t wait to have him perform for us again! Mahalo plenty!"

"Jack Bowers The Rick Holland—Evan Dobbins Little Big Band Trilby RPO Productions Five years after a sensational opening act (In Time's Shadow, 2006), trumpeter Rick Holland and trombonist Evan Dobbins have returned for an encore, Trilby, marshaling as before their irrepressible Little Big Band. As was noted of that earlier recording, "the only thing small about [this band] is its numbers." Baritone saxophonist Dean Keller, who shared that chair with Kerry Strayer on Shadow, also returns. The rest of the lineup is brand new, with Evan Dobbins' dad, the well-known educator Bill Dobbins (Eastman School of Music), replacing the splendid pianist John Nyerges. Besides shining at the keyboard, Bill Dobbins wrote "My Darling Darlene" and arranged half of the album's other ten numbers. Although he doesn't play this time around, Strayer composed "Rich's Call" and arranged Sonny Stitt's "Eternal Triangle" and Oscar Pettiford's "Tricotism," while Brent Wallarab wrote "Trilby" and arranged Benny Golson's "Stablemates." Bill Dobbins' engaging charts brighten three originals by Hendrik Meurkens—"Slidin," "Second Waltz," "The Cottage"—as well as Hal Crook's "Fused" and Alec Wilder's lovely standard, "While We're Young" (a reprise from the band's earlier album). Holland, who plays flugelhorn exclusively, solos strongly on seven numbers, striking the ball with assurance and perception on every turn at bat. Bill Dobbins ("Slidin," "The Cottage," "Trilby," "Darlene," "Tricotism") amplifies the message, as do Evan Dobbins ("Slidin," "Fused"), Doug Stone (alto on "Stablemates," clarinet on "Second Waltz," soprano on "Trilby" and "While We're Young"), tenor Mike Pendowski ("Eternal Triangle," "Fused," "Rich's Call"), trombonist Nick Finzer ("Second Waltz," "Tricotism"), bassist David Baron ("The Cottage," "Tricotism") and blue-chip drummer Rich Thompson ("Eternal Triangle," "Fused," "Rich's Call"). When they're not having their say, the ensemble is front and center, giving each of the charts its single-minded attention. The result is music that flows easily without miscue. Trilby marks a second triumph by the Holland / Dobbins Little Big Band, which, as was noted after its debut album, "is more big than little, in every sense of the word." Those who appreciate a tight, swinging band, even if slightly undersized, are sure to admire Trilby."

"St. Francis Hospital Fourth Annual Survivors Day Event John Canella, better known as Johnny the Oldies Singer recently performed at our fourth annual Survivors Day event at St. Francis Hospital. As a performer and singer John is the best, it’s his other talents and professionalism that really sets him apart from the many other performers in the market. He is able to connect with the audiences which make his performance personalized and special. He made our patient feel like he knew them a life time and this made their experience great. John arrived on the day of the event promptly, setup his equipment (which is state-of-the-art Bose), went over the agenda and made room for special requests. There wasn’t anything he was not prepared to deliver. At the end of the program our guests, physicians and staff left grateful for a great program. Thanks John, we’ll see you again soon."
