"I booked Gordon as a surprise act for our wedding at The Leapark in Grangemouth and he made our big day a day to remember. He sang the night away and catered for all ages and tastes in music. He also does a fantastic Michael Buble tribute. Numerous guests have commented on how excellent the entertainment was on the night. Gordon priced his services very fairly and was definitely worth every penny. I would highly recommend Gordon for any special occasion or celebration (10 / 10)"

"Fantastic Show!!! There is absolutely no way to experience anything closer to a live show with Frank Sinatra's voice than with James Anthony. I will certainly hire him again and would recommend anybody else to do the same. I have never seen a more realistic impersonation of any artist. Hats off to you Mr. Anthony!!"

O my Goodness there was many eyes filled with tears as she sang one of my favorite songs . "I got an all-clear result from my PCR Test yesterday, so last night I ventured out to the Jam House to see how much the Brummie music culture had advanced during my almost 2-year absence. Last nights gig was a new venture called Reggae Winehouse a Brummie band with three vocalists doing Reggae versions of Amy Winehouse's repertoire. I liked the idea, and so did a lot of other Brummies who turned out to make a fantastic night. I am old enough to remember when the Windrush Generation started to arrive in Brum bringing their love of music and enjoyment with them. A few of that generation were present last night along with their grandchildren. By the time that the second set started the Jam House was bouncing around St Pauls Square and you couldn't tell the difference between the multiple ethnicities on the dancefloor, we were all just Brummies filled with Joy. I semi walked semi danced on my way home in the early hours, thinking to myself how lucky I am to be a Brummie. The Jam House did our City proud last night, and after 10 years I finally saw the lead singer I always knew was in there. Take a bow Leonie Smith and the rest of your brilliant band !! #nuffsaidfred #ILuvMyCity"

"Carla, Dino, Guglielmo, and Angelo of Barbera & Champagne performed at my wedding in June 2025, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the very beginning, communication and coordination with Carla was seamless. She was warm, responsive, and incredibly professional. Her voice is absolutely stunning, and the entire quartet brought such vibrant energy to the celebration. Their performance of romantic classics in English, Italian, Spanish, and French added an elegant, heartfelt touch that made our wedding feel like a dream. " All Music Review Thom Jurek The title of this set is an apt one. While much of the music presented by the Rick Holland-Evan Dobbins Little Big Band, it hearkens back -- in terms of its sophistication, confidence and outright jazz literacy, not nostalgically -- to an era when progressive jazz, and big bands (this one numbering 10 pieces) flourished on the scene. This is one sophisticated outfit. Featuring the arrangement and compositional skills of Brent Wallarab, Jim Martin, Bill Dobbins and Kerry Strayer, this band struts out the tradition and make some joyous, complex, and elegant music that reflects its own unique identity. The résumés of all these players are impressive and reflected in the confidence of the date. It opens with "SUNY-Triangle," a Martin composition that works its artful sleight-of-hand over Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Triste." Martin uses the rhythmically complex samba and drapes some tough, knotty twists and turns over it. The intro is a beautiful and raucous wake-up call, while the head of the tune, with its staggered entrances and exits -- including some fine soloing by John Viavattine on tenor and John Nyerges on piano -- give this tune a unique identity. "Creature Comfort" is a beautiful mid-tempo ballad by Wallarab with edgeless yet multi-dimensional dissonances written into its harmonics. It swings beautifully and includes a fine, punchy solo by tenorman Glenn Cashman. Besides the originals, there are some fine readings here as well. There's Wallarab's arrangement of Duke Ellington's "Black and Tan Fantasy" that's a thoroughly modern exercise losing none of Ellington's humor or rhythmic complexity. Likewise, Gerry Mulligan's haunting, wee-hours, "Night Lights," is given expert treatment here by Strayer, and Dean Keller's baritone saxophone playing combines Mulligan's sense of lyric and Ben Webster's sense of time. In Time's Shadow reveals that innovation need not sacrifice accessibility or swing. It is convincing evidence that the big band form is alive, well and full of surprises."

You pitched your show perfectly giving the audience the chance to chat over coffees and drinks after the meal with some well known romantic songs (not too loud that we could still hear each other chatting!) and then plenty of more upbeat ones filling the dance floor. The feedback from guests was so complimentary you have a great voice and kept the evening flowing. I have no hesitation in recommending you highly. "Annelise was perfect in every way. Prompt, communicative and responsive. Everyone at the party loved her and commented on her style. This was important to us as we were catering for all ages and tastes. She sang beautifully. I would definitely recommend and book again. Just wonderful."
