"The Lewis Barfoot Jazz Quintet delivers amazing performances. The ensemble demonstrated a deep understanding of both the jazz and swing tradition and the soul of live interpretation, balancing technical precision with an inviting sense of spontaneity. Lewis's leadership was evident throughout, with singing that was confident yet understated, allowing space for all the musician voices to shine.There was an unmistakable sense of enjoyment and mutual respect on stage, which translated directly to the audience. Dynamic contrasts were handled with care, and solos were expressive without ever feeling self-indulgent. Particularly impressive was their attention to providing music that truly worked for dancers. Tempos, dynamics, and phrasing were handled with care, ensuring the music was not only enjoyable to listen to but also perfectly suited to the dance floor. Beyond the performance itself, the professional approach stood out throughout the entire process. Communication was clear and reliable from the initial booking through to the end of the event, making the experience smooth and stress-free. "I booked Johnny for my husband's surprise birthday party, he was amazing 👏🏻 he had everyone up dancing from 1 year old to 93 year old.. took requests no problem and was so lovely to everyone. Even before the event he called and asked was there any specific songs we would like him to play. He had such a good variety of songs and was brilliant from start to finish. I will definitely book him again for my next event! "

"Well where do I start, what an excellent evening. Fan Club Party Band were able to accommodate my request with only 7 days notice. They rocked up early set up and provided the best centre piece music display for my small private party. Everybody ended up dancing and singing with the band. Guests took their number to book for themselves. Cannot fault them in any way. They were so friendly they just blended in with the party. I’ll be definitely booking them again !! Many thanks for a great night Darren"

"I absolutely adore him and his music. As a fellow saxophone player I’ve trudelt been inspired by him. The way he sways with the music effortlessly blew me away. Throughout all my years as a saxophone I’ve never encounter someone of this caliber. None of my previous mentors compared. Not a single crack or squeak in sight. Absolutely magnificent "
